Usual Injuries
Focusing on Sam first, then regarding the rest of the team.
So, the thing about hunting is that actual blood spilling is relatively rare. Some grazes or intentional cutting (I’ll explain that), yeah sure, but any direct attacks would usually give enough to be bitten/killed/etc.
Sam
Sam is a pretty head-on fighter/hunter so she sustains a fair bit more than the average amount of injuries.
There’s the blisters/callouses on her feet from running/chasing so much and so often since she doesn’t even try to take care of her feet. The very rare bruises on her knees and calves from sliding. Another rarity are scrapes and bruises on her sides, these are any attacks that were too close.
Here on out are where the common injuries are though.
Her hands suffer probably the most with callouses and scrapes/bruises. She handles these weapons, uses her hand to push off of walls/floors/etc. for speed, scrapes her hands up to stop herself, and sometimes fistfights with ordinary people (Wandering around at night and putting her nose everywhere sometimes pisses off people). With all of this her hands will look bad. Even when she wears the fingerless gloves to cut down on scrapes and such, she’ll still bruise and will end up tearing the gloves anyways.
Her forearms take some moderate damage too; mostly bruises, slashes, and self inflicted cuts. She uses her forearms to divert and block attacks when she can’t physically get out of the way in time. So her forearms will take a bunch of hits, and occasionally any slashing attacks from vamp nails will go through the clothing and cut her. Now, the self inflicted cuts- no it’s probably not what you’re thinking. She does not cut herself for emotional reasons. In some scenarios to attract a vamp, possibly away from someone else or in general, she’ll cut enough on the top of her forearm for a little blood.
From there, not too much left. Her shoulders and upper arms take graze attacks only for the most part. If she gets an injury above her neck it’s from a fight with an actual person.
Final mention on Sam: She has a small scar on her neck from a training accident from when she was starting out. Long story, short- she had a stake in her hand and she- *sighs* she was just being stupid.

Danny
Danny is really close to how Sam is, in that his injuries are pretty close since both of them had similar training.
He is not as self-sacrificing though, which is pretty good. His hands do get callous from the weapons, but he doesn’t get scrapes on them and the only bruises come from simple weapon usage. Forearms take about the same amount of damage as Sam.
Where Sam is pretty ground-based, keeping her center of gravity low and everything especially when fighting- Danny is not. Unless specifically attacked at, his calves take no damage. Danny, well Danny lets himself fall to avoid unnecessary injuries. See, when Sam is about to fall she’ll slide and scrape her legs up to stay upright. Danny will BRIEFLY land on his knees if in one direction then quickly let his momentum carry him the rest of the way down, falling on his thighs/butt then his shoulder/arm. It depends on which direction he’s falling if his knees even touch the ground. Anyways, Danny lets himself roll and if anything is nearby him then he’ll quickly swipe with his leg at their legs or anywhere else. From there the motion goes through and he’ll stand up.
Point is-! Danny doesn’t have injuries on his calves, but instead he’ll only occasionally get bruises on his thighs/butt/arms/shoulders.
Ann
Oh, boy. Ann is a powerhouse, really. She can really take hits and while she doesn’t bruise too easily she’ll still get bruises and such on her upper arms. She’s pretty hard to knock down in that it’s hard to even get her off balance. Sam keeps a low center of gravity, but Ann is like a moving solid. Every move she makes she is completely balanced and steady/braced. However, this also cuts down on her speed quite a bit.
She can overpower vamps with any movement of hers, but actually hitting them she runs into a problem. I got distracted, ANYWAYS- yes she’ll have bruises on her upper arms. She’ll also obtain random slashes anywhere on her upper body. It depends on the vamp. Although, for the most part she does not get hurt that often.
Balder
Okay. Okay. So, Once again, the normal use of weapons will give him callouses. However, he sticks with long-ranged weapons. Besides that this boy has virtually nothing. To be honest, he’s pretty bad at close combat with anything or anybody. That’s not to say he’s the WORST, but it’s not a strength of his. Which, when you’re fighting against a bunch of vampires it’s not good.
Ann and Balder have always worked as a sort of team with this, Ann gets right into the close fighting and Danny will take out vampires from away. He has killed vamps with stakes/knives before, but he never does it with anything other than relatively weak vamps. He’s more skilled with the crossbows/bows/guns/etc. than melee weapons or general fighting.
May
Once again, weapon use leading to callouses. However, she does moisturize her hands to try and keep them soft and will always wear some form of hand protection. So, really, she doesn’t have as much of a callous as most hunters do.
Huh, I just realized- she barely gets injuries either. I mean, her biggest skill is speed/avoidance. The only stuff she really gets are the occasional grazes on arms leading to bruises or cuts. However, her actual strength is about the same level as Balder’s so that’s kind of the trade-off with her.
Vincent
Awh, yes. Callouses on his hands, we got that. He’s also fast like May. However, he’s not quite as fast and he can’t really twist his body out of the way of attacks. Like Sam and Danny he got similar training, although he did get a wider variety because of backstory reasons and yada yada.
He’s well rounded- the only thing is that he is used to fighting more than he is to actual hunting. He knows how to fall like Danny does, but he rolls back into his fighting stances. Kind of the opposite side of the coin as Ann in that regard. He’s relatively easy to knock down, but he’ll roll right back into a fighting position.
He’s got the same as Danny’s typical forearms injuries – bruises and whatnot. Uhm, he’s pretty well-rounded, so I’m just trying to think here. He’s basically has Danny’s injuries, excluding the stuff from Danny falling- since Vincent does roll and use that momentum to get himself back up.
Final Summary:
Generally, the forearms get bruises and scrapes. Hands are calloused from weapons. Grazes along anywhere on the body.
