the day is at its nearest end, angel doesn’t have much longer until she has to solely focus on studying to catch up with her academic life. even though she was a trainee, she made sure to still have something to fall back to just in case if this path didn’t work out for her. tired and restless, she heaves out a distressed sigh once she’s made her way to her room. sad part? the ice princess has barely gotten enough sleep since she’s been juggling two different lives but she didn’t complain and went with the program.
she doesn’t even bother unpacking her stuff cause of the lack of energy she has and changes into a new set of clothes, some pyjamas from japan that her auntie exclusively bought her. it was frilly in terms of her standard but it was an outfit she could only wear at home so she didn’t pay much attention to it. brush her teeth and tidy up her hair in a bun so it isn’t in the way of her face.
once she’s out of the bathroom, angel’s next thing to do on her list is feeding her dogs. she’s gotten into that habit and changes midnight and nyx bowls quickly with some dog food then disinfects and thoroughly washes her hands with soap and dries it off with a towel. too comfortable in her own home, she has no reason to keep up her guard but she’s taken aback when the person, who left with a silent goodbye is in her own home.
what the fuck is all this?
“alors là, bravo!” she switched over to french, yelling at her brother at the tone of her voice wasn’t a warm one. “mais qu'est-ce que tu fais là? vous deux?” she shook her head disapprovingly, but tried not to let it get to her. “hi sehun.” her face was blank (as she tried her best to hold her composure), despite the long months it’s been since she’s last seen him, she still greets him with a light wave of her hand. she’s aware of that distance that stands between them but she still felt the twinges in her heart, beat slowly raising at the sight of his handsome face that she tries to evade staring at.
