“This place sucks,” Jenny muttered as she stomped over to the bench, each step making a loud metal clanging noise. First they took away all her weapons and abilities, then they limited her flight, and now they had the audacity to put a barrier around this stupid city. Being able to fly around the entire world in 80 seconds was cool until that meant slamming into a wall so hard one of her pigtails snapped right off.
She threw herself onto the bench, lifting up the broken pigtail in the completely useless hope that maybe she’d have some solution to fixing it. It was dented at the top and she hadn’t been able to find the screw that went with it so she couldn’t put it back on. Not that she knew how to fix it even if she did have the screw. Besides, it wouldn’t work well with how dented it was - there was no way it could stabilize her when flying.
She tossed it down next to her, sighing as she slumped forward. It was supposed to be easy to get out of this place, but so far none of her ideas had panned out, she didn’t have anything to defend herself or others with if needed, and she couldn’t even fly now. She was waiting for the train! At least last time she’d taken a train it had been on Cluster Prime and she’d been with friends. In other words, it had been fun. This was annoying and frustrating and she wanted to go home.
