Now being a mechanic didn't usually mean being out so late but the shop had a lot of repairs to finish by a specific deadline, after all, people had their lives and the shop had to keep that going.

Still, he was sad to see the night sky already came out on his way home. However, he was just lucky that a full moon had just passed so he had a fresh cycle to work with until the next one.

At least, he thought he was safe from chaos until he was suddenly jumped on by some hissing person, making Johnathan already trying to wrestle the person off of him.

Luckily he managed, but now a tussle caused Johnathan to have his back against the wall as his strength as a werewolf was the only thing keeping this fanged person from reaching his neck.

"Was zur holle!?" Shouting out what the hell in his native language of German, his voice started to growl while he was desperately trying to fight back.

“Hm...Not really. Some asked but I only really saw them as friends.” Surprising to him, really. Especially during heat season. Johnathan can’t really tell what’s worse, heat season or forcefully transforming during a full moon. 

“Ah, you think I’m handsome too? Thank you! You know, Soren, I think you’re really cute!”

“Excuse me!” The werewolf’s thick German accent was more than apparent when we waved down a complete stranger. Extroverted as always, Johnathan had no problems coming to a random person for help. 

“Um...I just moved here, and I wanted to find a shopping plaza for some things but um...I don’t really understand how to get there.”

“Cherry blossoms? Oh, that’s the pretty ones I’ve seen in pictures!” Johnathan’s dark green eyes were just sparkling in excitement. Flowers were so different than the ones back in Germany! 

All he ever grew up seeing were simply daisies and dandelions, but never pretty soft flowers with so much vibrancy to them. 

“I’d love to! I want to see all of them!” An excited little nod, he quickly nudges his head against his shoulder to show just how happy he was. “If it rains, I’ll hold your umbrella for you.”

“Excuse me! Do you have a map anywhere? I’m lost and I haven’t got a clue about where I am!” He seems a little too cheerful about the fact that he’s lost but that was Johnathan for you.

Count smiled and was pleased to see his favorite boy doing well. “I will tell you everything you want to know, you see I went back to China to visit my family.” He patted the cushion next to him to invite him to sit next to him, “it was a rather nice break from the shop to say the least however I missed you and the rest of my friends. How were you doing while I was gone?”

China sounds so far, he's hardly traveled that far before, and it leaves his forest eyes sparkling excitedly when he sits next to him.

"Are your family nice to you? I'd love to meet them someday!" He knows he can't introduced Count to his own parents and siblings, when he was kicked out of the pack a long time ago for choosing humans over the pack, but it didn't matter now when Count's family would be like a second one to him if they're as kind as him.

"I was lonely, I waited for you while I went to work." He chooses to rest his head on his lap. "It's okay though! I helped fix a lot of cars for people, and lifted lots of boxes for people."

Count smiled and gently patted his head, “there you are! I am back from my long trip from overseas, I feel guilty for leaving without saying a word.” Count pulled out some sweets he brought to share with him, “I will be reopening the shop and you can stay with me again if you want.”

"It's okay! I would've kept waiting no matter how long it took." Even though Johnathan didn't have his tails and ears out, it's clear from the bright look on his face that it would've been wagging all over the place just at the excitement to see his Count finally returned home.

"Yes please! Can you tell me what it was like overseas? Please please?"

"Where is my good boy?"

"Count!!! It's me!" Johnathan excitedly raises his hand, forest green eyes sparkling before running to Count's side to cuddle up to his shoulder.
