Kai's life seemed to have been a slow downfall ever since he ended up dropping out of UA. It was just a stupid accident he had gotten himself into one night, and he managed to realize that a Hero wasn't quite what he had wanted in life. Being a Villian wasn't what he had in mind either, but at least he got to do what ever he wanted.

He had been sent to the docks to go steal some medical supplies. There had been a fight between a bunch of heros and villians recently, and a lot of their vikkians had gotten majorly hurt. They needed their wounds treated, and this was the ckosest place where there were medical supplies for the picking.

His long blue hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and he wore what looked like a wetsuit, and a pair of goggles on his head. It wasn't something he neccsarily needed to wear do to his powers, but it helped to have around just in case.

It was the middle of the night, so the crew was still asleep, but the supplies hadn't been moved yet. He managed to get onto the boat, without using his powers yet, and began searching the place for the supplies.

Kai shrugs one shoulder, twisting the cap back on the bottle of bourbon he'd just poured for a customer, shelving it behind him almost without even looking. "not always. there are some people you just can't find any good in... but in those you can, those with more than they realize, it should be what we focus on, right? even if they don't know it's there." he stares at her as he folds his arms across his chest, leaning back against the bar top and cocking one hip out slightly. "what's with the self-deprecation and melancholy goin' on over here, darlin'?" he wagged his finger in her general direction before smirking and waiting for her answer.

She brought her glass to her lips, giving him a bit of a look. A healthy swallow later, and Molly mimics his shrug. "It's all part of my endless charm." Her hands spread, as though to say it was just how things were. Maybe there was some truth to that, but they both knew there was more to the story. Wasn't there always?

Still, Molly settled in against the counter again, brushing her nose with the back of her hand. "Ain't nothing good about me." She muttered after a moment, looking down into her glass. "That's why people cheat, right? Looking for something good, something better. More."

"Who wouldn't?" She howled.

It had taken her minutes to collect herself. Cyra had wrapped her arms around her gut, her muscles aching and quaking with laughter. To see him react so genuinely to being doubted had left her nearly doubled over with amusement.

"You really expect me to believe that you didn't take the moonstone crystal on my staff?" She wiped tears from her eyes as she finally calmed enough to speak coherently. "With the long list of trickery and childish games you've pulled on me, you really think that I wouldn't? Gods, Kai...If you truly want to convince me that you're an honest Miqo'te, then you'd do better to conceal yourself when taking my belongings."

The healer crossed her arms, shifting her weight onto one leg and narrowing her eyes playfully at her sibling. If there was one thing he should have learned by now, it was that Cyra would never back down from such a challenge. Despite the game having gone on for at least a year at this point, every turn he made against her would only be met with a far worse contest from herself.

Of all people she expected to hear this from, it certainly wasn't Kai.

How quickly their conversation had just shifted from quick-witted jesting to such a sudden honesty had been beyond her. It was clear that he had been thinking on it for a while based on the change in his tone. To see that it had been bothering him, even though she had been making light of her own experiences, had been sobering.

She wasn't used to this.

"Maybe, and maybe not," she chuckled. "I wasn't really a well-behaved child, but who's to say?"

It was a poor attempt at continuing the light-hearted conversation. Cyra never was one to handle heavy topics well, and if she couldn't avoid them, she could at least try to alleviate the weight of it. She shifted, turning slightly away from him to hide her glass-eyed gaze. There were few moments where she allowed herself to express such delicate feelings in front of others, let alone her own flesh and blood.

"I-uh...thank you." She sighed, allowing the smile to tug at her lips as she leaned forward onto the railing. Her tail flicked out behind her, waving and curling until it snaked around to wrap around the end of his own.

Blue Blooded

Before the revolution, Kai had ended up becoming deviant after his owner started beating on him. He had no clue what to do, so at the time he managed to run away in the middle of the night. He changed his clothes, and his looks a small bit to hide from the cops, and even tore out his LED.

After several bad nights of hiding in dark allies and abandoned houses, he ended up meeting a group of humans who took him in. They had no clue that he was an android, and would make a deal with Kai. If Kai helped them get loads of Thirium for their drug, they'd take care of him. At the time, Kai didn't think he had any other choice but to help.

Now that Androids were beginning to get their own rights, Kai thought about leaving... but that was difficult to do. Surely these humans would end up hurting him if they fond out he was an Android, so he was still helping them get the supplies they needed for the Red Ice.

That was the reason he ended up in one of the old Cyberlife plants in the middle of the night, and the reason he was stuffing packets of Blue blood into an old beat up backpack. He was dressed all in black, and his blue hair was stuffed under a black beanie.

Kai had been hitting this place up for weeks now, with barely any issues. So, he hadn't thought to check for any new camera's that may of been around.
