Honestly enough, Vivian had no idea who this like-minded individual on twitter was, but even then, they certainly had good taste; after all, anyone who deems Shizume from Magical Girl Utopia as the ‘best waifu’ would automatically be considered a man of culture in her eyes. At the same time, however, she didn’t expect a lone tweet made by her account, sporting Yanhe as her avatar icon, would GAIN that much traction, let alone lead to an online friendship with another fan who happened to share similar interests as her.
For around three hours following that fated encounter, Vivian soon found herself typing away enthusiastic messages to her mysterious correspondent whom she only knew by ‘blackreaper’. At some point, she had to charge her phone, because it was running out of battery, but eventually, the topic of what they were doing became brought up and through some strange coincidence, it was then discovered they both happened to be at a library… though what made it even more weird was the fact blackreaper’s description of the library they occupied completely matched the same one she was in, causing her EYES to widen in astonishment.
[vivisaurus]: Wait… correct me if I’m wrong, but are you at Zephyr Library by any chance? Σ(・口・)
[vivisaurus]: I remember there being a gigantic bear plush by the entrance too! (屮゜Д゜)屮 Could this mean we’re soulmates?!
Of course, she was merely joking, yet regardless, that didn’t stop her from remaining shocked beyond belief.
Welcome back! I hope that ur refreshed and in a healthy state of mind Can I get both kanekis yomo touka and ayato looking at their s/o and being really happy and appreciative of just having them (s/o) in their lives. Im in such a cornball mood 🙈🙈
Aw, thank you for your well wishes! I hope thiswas cute and fluffy enough for you!
KANEKI and his partner are in the city for no apparent reason other than hispartner insisted that he needed some fresh air and him deciding to humor theirwhims. They’re practically bouncing with all of the energy in their smallframe. “Kaneki, if you don’t hurry up I’ll leave you behind.” They turn aroundfrom where they stand just ahead of him, with a smile reminiscent of the sunglittering off the sea. He just gives them a nervous laugh before catching upwith them. In a single bold move his partner takes his hand in theirs, apologizing for their sweaty hand. “It’s okay, my hand is sweaty too, see?” Andthe two of them laugh with unprecedented mirth. His partner is oblivious to thewords around them, but he hears the onlookers loud and clear, speaking amongstthemselves about how happy the two of them looked, to take their mushy couplestuff elsewhere, and perhaps the most embarrassing of all came from an elderlycouple. “My, I wonder when the two of them will be engaged.”
SHIRO!KANEKI knew that he had been neglecting his partner lately. The twoof them knew it could not be helped, and even though his partner could notunderstand, they waited patiently for him. Just as he thought of them, he hearsa knock on his door that could only be produced by the hand he knew so well. His partner comes in at his prompting, their hands behind their back with asort of uncertainty and nervousness in their smile. When they managed to speakit is an unsteady “I have something I need to tell you.” And he thinks thatmaybe they are tired of waiting for him, that they have decided to heed hiswords and find someone that would make them happier than his current selfcould. He braces himself for the hurt he will undoubtedly feel at their words, but those words don’t come. Instead they take the thing they had been hidingbehind their back and shoves a colorful book in front of him. At theirprompting he opens it and finds that it’s a scrapbook. “I’ve been writing astory and I wanted your input on it. I want you to help me write it.” Theirwords come out so fast that it takes him a minute to process them, and anothertwo to realize what they mean. “I love you.” The two of them say the words atthe same time and Kaneki finds himself cracking a genuine smile after whatfeels like decades.
YOMO glanced at his lovers sleeping face. They seemed utterly carefree intheir sleep, lips part as they shift in their sleep, muttering softly. It issuch a contrast to the life he leads, bloody out of necessity, that he’smomentarily struck by a thought. How lucky he is to have met them amidst thecarnage that seemed to hum in the background of everyone’s lives. He brushessome hair out of their face with a gentleness he didn’t know he had beencapable of. And it’s that moment when he realizes yet again how much he loveshis partner, the reassuring weight of their affections on his shoulders. Thatdespite the world he is a part of, despite the sins he’s committed, he managedto find a blessing in the shape of a person. Yomo thought he’d given up allsuch notions, such sentimentality years ago, yet here he is, nearly overwhelmedwith how important this single person is to him. He tugs the blankets overtheir form and quietly exits the room, kissing them on the forehead and biddingthem goodnight. His actions say all the things words fail to, that that personin front of him is the most precious thing in the world.
TOUKA looks at her partner. It isn’t as if they’re doing anything special;they’re just organizing some stuff around the house. She had long given up ontelling them that it is unnecessary for them to do, but they always seemed sohappy in doing so. There couldn’t be any harm in letting them have their wayevery now and again. “Um, Touka, where does this go?” they gesture to a stackof papers she recognizes as some old school notes. Touka tells them they canjust throw them away; they are a year old by now and the rabbit herself doesn’tknow why she kept them. “Okay! Thank you dear!” and they smile that samebrilliant smile that she seems to fall for again and again. Touka could neverforget how they met, how they grew closer over both painful and joyfulhappenings, and she wonders just how all of that coalesced into this. How couldit have happened to someone—something—likeher? All of the times Touka needed someone for anything, they had always beenwilling to offer what help they could give. She crosses the threshold betweenthem and embraces them from behind. “Thank you.” Touka mumbles into theirshoulder. Her partner just laughs softly in response.
AYATO looked at his partner, splayed out across the bed mumbling somenonsense about cute fluffy animals in their sleep. They shouldn’t be here, withhim. His life is filled with blood and violence and gore and he knows he won’tbe able to protect them from all of it forever. He knows his partner isn’t somepure, divine saint, but they seem that way to him. They aren’t always patient, they’re feelings get hurt too often, and there are a dozen other things thatmake them so much less than a god, but they’re here. With him. Despite knowing that their decision could get themkilled, they still chose to stay, over and over again. He lowers himself on thebed and holds their hand in his. He’s fucked up a lot and he knows he’s goingto mess up again, but as long as his partner is willing to stay with him, hewon’t let go of their hand. “…ato?” his internal monologue is interrupted byhis partner’s sleepy voice and he nearly panics. Did he perhaps wake them up?“Ayato I’m really happy that you’re here…” Their breathing steadies once moreand he realizes that they’re still resting peacefully. He tightens his handaround theirs. “Yeah…me too.”
how would ayato, suzuya, and both kanekis react to experiencing their partner slowly losing their mind due to some angsty/traumatic reason? (like they have lots of extreme dissociation of themselves, more out of it, doesn't remember who they are sometimes, mood swings between before and now etc)
I put this under a read more…you know, just incase? It doesn’t get too intense or anything but it could make some peopleuncomfortable
AYATO had always been aware that his partner is a little…off. Their emotionsare never quite in equilibrium with each other. They’re prone to sudden changesin their mood; this is something Ayato has learned to deal with, in part thanksto the help of his afflicted partner. At first, that had been the only strangething about them, but now it became clear that there is something much deeper, much more serious than any facet of them he had seen before. It starts withthem jumping at shadows, which he thinks little of at the time; they had alwaysbeen the jumpy sort who became frightened easily. But those seemingly harmlessgestures quickly escalated to attacking things that only existed for them, often with an edged object that ended up hurting his partner more than anythingelse. One day, he has enough of telling himself that things will just fixthemselves and pulls his partner to the side, asking if they are all right, that he’s here for them, to please just talk to him so he can help them. But he can feel his heartbreak at the look in their eyes as they say: “Who are you?”
SUZUYA had at first not understood what is happening to his partner. They hadthis uncanny ability to forget nearly anything, and one could, in fact, say thatthey could easily forget everything. Initially, it seemed to be a harmlessinability to readily recall information. They would forget names or how to getto certain places, but everyone had bouts of absentmindedness so he paid it noheed. However, it became apparent, even to him, that they forgot an abnormalamount of things. They would introduce themselves to people they had alreadymet and had been quite familiar with, they would ask what the day is,repeatedly, as if the words had never registered in their mind to begin with. “Whoare you?” they asked him one day, and he panics, asking everyone he can forhelp, even that stuffy old Amon. And when they asked, “Suzuya, who am I?” allhe could do is cry. The only thought that registered is the question of whetherhis partner would forget how to breathe one day too.
KANEKI had always been acutely aware of the abnormal paranoia his partner held.He figured it must be the product of living in such a place where one couldeasily lose their life even if they are careful. He’s constantly reassuring themthat they are okay, that they are safe, that if anything happens he’ll protectthem, despite knowing there isn’t much he can do. Because of this, they clingto him, a pocket of safety in the rising tide of their fear. He realizes thatthis is more than just an obsessive suspicion of everything when he finds thempointing a knife at their own throat in the middle of the night. He tentativelyasks them what they’re doing, to please, pleaseput the knife down. They turn towards him and clearly say “I’m killing thefake.” And there’s something in their eyes, a feral sort terror that must havestemmed from some irreparable damage. Kaneki manages to get the knife away fromthem and convinces them to get some sleep. He’s worried about them tryingsomething again so he checks on them, but they are sleeping peacefully as theyalways have. All he can do is wonder how he can help them, if he could help them, and how long it would be until they lost againstthe tumultuous battle against their own paranoia. He felt helpless; he lovesthem this much and yet he can’t do a single thing.
SHIRO!KANEKI had known from the very beginning that there is something inhis partner’s past that wounded them very deeply. It pursued them endlessly, refusing to let go. He never pried about what happened; he knows there are somethings best left unsaid. If it’s something they want to talk to him about, hewould listen, but he respected them and never pressed anything more than aninquiry as to whether they are okay or not. He could handle the sudden crying, the episodes of fear that seemed to well up out of nowhere. What he couldn’thandle though is the way partner disappeared for days, weeks, months on end.Their physical presence is there, certainly, but mentally, they had retreated somewheredeep inside of themselves. What worried him is that they spent more and moretime “asleep” recently. He takes care of them as best he can, but he can’tshake the fear that his partner could very easily disappear forever.
ahh! what type of wedding would Kaneki, Uta, and Tsukiyama would have? o3o
Sorry that thisis a bit short; I couldn’t think up full scenarios for everyone ;o;
KANEKI wouldn’t have adrastically different wedding than the typical image that comes to mind. Itwould be a relatively small, closed affair involving only close friends andfamily members. He’d be extremely nervous up until the point they exchange rings. The reception would be simple, but elegant.
UTA is definitelythe type to have a wedding that breaks the conventions of such an event. Therewould definitely be a sort of theme to the wedding, though the particulars aredetermined by the particular partner he chooses to wed. The wedding is asemi-public affair, involving those they are close to as well as acquaintances. The reception would be just as quirky as the ceremony.
TSUKIYAMA as one mightexpect, spares no expense on the matter of the ceremony. Ordinarily, hispartner may insist that he is, once again, being excessive, but it is theirwedding and he seems to enjoy planning for the event. The wedding is a verypublic and grandiose affair, partly stemming from the status of the Tsukiyamafamily. The reception, in contrast, is a bit more private, but no lessextravagant.
How would Kuro!Kaneki react to his s/o randomly squeezing his butt at any time? School, the store, on a walk, at home, while he's sleeping, just at any moment? Haha I'm a perv XD
Fun fact: I talk like a perverted old man sometimesa lot
One thing KANEKI could not understand about his loveris their apparent need to squeeze his butt. Regardless of time and place, hecould be certain they would eventually fulfill this strange desire of theirs. Itdidn’t matter how many times they would do this, it still flustered him endlessly.Especially around people he knew, because how is he going to explain their butt-squeezing shenanigans? He’sgrateful that they haven’t struck while he’s at work (or perhaps they justhaven’t done so yet). Kaneki is quite certain that if his lover were to do sucha thing, he would never be able to work again. The embarrassment would killhim. He decides that he probably can’t stop them (and though he wouldn’t admitit, he found their outward display of affection however embarrassing, to bequite endearing). If he couldn’t stop them, he might as well learn why theyfelt compelled to do such a thing.
Upon confronting themabout this, they laugh like a perverted old man. “What can I say? You’ve got acute ass. I can’t help myself.”
How would Shiro and Kuro Kaneki react to after getting home real late one night(from Anteiku, Aogiri, or school or something) and finding his s/o drunk and in hysterics and repeatedly saying "I love you" "don't leave me" and clinging to him?
KANEKI is at first surprised to see his lover whimpering in a corner instead ofcheerily greeting him at the door. He doesn’t always know what to say when itcomes to comforting other people, but resolves to at least ease the worries ofhis partner. Carefully, he approaches them, asking them if there’s anything hecan do for them. Their whimpers crescendo into crying, clinging to him andbegging him to stay, not to leave them, because they love him so much, they’ve never loved anyone so much. In suchclose proximity, he can tell that they are drunk. He realizes that they’ve beenkeeping their fears of him leaving them close to heart, only to let them outlosing their inhibitions. Kaneki holds them in his arms, reassuring them, telling them that he loved them without using those three words. He suggeststhat they go to bed, knowing that they must be exhausted from their hysterics. “Don’tworry; I’ll still be here when you wake up.”
SHIRO!KANEKI returned only to fine his partner sobbing and more than alittle drunk. He’s able to make out a little of what they’re saying, and hefeels something inside of him clench with how utterly vulnerable they are.“Kaneki, don’t leave me, I love you so much.” They cling to him, repeating thatthey love him and that they’re afraid of him leaving them. There’s somethingabout their desperation that makes them seem smaller than usual. He’s not quitesure what the cause of their drunken escapade is and realizes how little abouthis partner’s past he knows. Despite that, he does know he wants to reassurethem. He returns their vice-like grip with one of his own and tells them thatthe thought of leaving them has not crossed his mind. Not even once. His lovefor them is greater than that. Kaneki’s words bring a new volley of tears fromthem, but for a different reason. His partner gasps out how much they love himthrough their tears. He rubs circles into their back and replies with “I know,I know.”
Will you please do a scenario with both kanekis and touka confessing their love to their crush but their crush doesn't feel that they deserve love bc of their past (idk they probs killed someone). Sorry for lameness but I seriously need some fluff
You don’t have to apologize! And it isn’t lameit’s cute!!!
KANEKI tries to mask his disappointment at their refusal. Noting this, hiscrush continues on, justifying that they simply aren’t worth it, they are so,so, so, so unworthy of being loved, especially by someone like him. Knowing they can trust Kaneki, they tell himwhat they’ve done in the past, things that should only elicit disgust and scornand contempt. However, he just tells them that it’s okay, surprising them. Theacceptance is too much for them to bear and they do their best to hold backtheir tears, even lowering their head so that he can’t see, but he does. Notknowing what else to do, he hugs them, patting them on the back awkwardly in anattempt to calm them down. They apologize for losing their composure, pullingaway to look him in the eye. With a soft sigh, they breathe out the words they’vebeen biting back all the while. “You’re too good for the likes of me, findsomeone else to love that can make you happy.” Kaneki tells them that they arethe one that can make him happy, and asks with them, nearly pleading that theygive this a chance, to give them—that which could be—a chance. He sees ahundred emotions flit across their irises before hearing their answer, ananswer he could have only hoped to hear. “Okay, but only because you are theone I love.”
SHIRO!KANEKI is taken aback when they confess that they cannot under anycircumstance accept his feelings. They’ve done too many things, hurt too manypeople, ruined too many lives to be loved, especially by someone as selfless asKaneki. He can see that rejecting him hurts them more than it hurts him and hewonders what they must have done to inflict such condemnation upon themselves. He softly asks what they’ve done, not wanting to upset them, but wanting tounderstand why they would deny their own feelings. At first they refuse, butthen they confess all their sins to him, a confessional of all that marked themas undeserving. “I don’t deserve your love, no matter how much I want toreciprocate it.” Kaneki’s gaze softens upon hearing that they do in fact returntheir feelings and having no words to give, takes them into an embrace. “Idon’t care what you’ve done, or what you will do. I love you as you are, as youwill be.” He finds his answer when they return the gesture, holding onto Kanekias if he is their lifeline, the one thing that could save them, redeem them.“Okay, okay, I’m yours.” They whisper into his ear, afraid that the wind wouldsteal their words and toss them to the side. He would treasure them the most;teach them that regardless of their past deeds, that they still deserved to beloved as much as anyone else.
TOUKA feels a bit embarrassed when her crush haltingly apologizes. She’d justmade a fool of herself in front of the one person she wanted to impress…! “I’msorry, Touka, it isn’t that I don’t like you, I do! I just…you should…. Toukayou should find someone who deserves your love. I’m unworthy.” Touka is shockedinto silence, not quite believing what she clearly heard. They had admitted toliking her back, but there is something that refuses to let them let her in.The sting of rejection would have made more sense. And when she questions hercrush they admit to have done awful, unspeakably awful things, and thatsomething like love should never ever be placed in their hands. Annoyed, sheflicks their forehead lightly. “Idiot, it isn’t about how deserving you are. Ilove you for you, regardless of what you’ve done.” They still seem a littleapprehensive about the whole thing—no one can eliminate deep-seated sentimentswith just a few words—but they smile up at her before blushing, stuttering outan unexpected question. “C-can I hold your hand then?” In response, she takestheir hand in hers, resolving to give them all the love they deserved and more.
