          “Mmm -- whomever it is -- tell them I’m busy, I haven’t eaten all day.” Kaila complains, sipping on her fresh cup of coffee -- with a hint of gin. Her waitress on staff, however, seems a little too insistent causing Kaila to grunt in frustration as she raises from her desk in the back office of the bar. “What the fuck could be so...” with that, she witnesses in front of her and she’s not sure if she should kiss him or hug him...or both?! Maybe slap him?! He’d been gone for way too fucking long!

          “Ok -- she’s down.” She being her daughter, Kae, of course. “Time to get out the hard liquor, right?? -- You know if you go to Gracie you’re going to get that silver lining bullshit. With me? Booze.”

         “Got my kid with a sitter. I need you to get me drunk -- like what do they call it - ‘white girl’ wasted? I wouldn’t know, can hold my tequila like a pro -- but seriously. Drunk. Now.”

     “You look lost.” Kaila taunts, throwing him an amused grin while she fixes up a drink for another patron at the bar. “What will it be, Bambi?” she continues on, leaning over the counter space a little so she can hear him better, but also in a more flirtatious fashion - hey, she’s got tips to make. Lala bites at her bottom lip, famous dimple showcasing on the side of her cheek as she cants her head curiously, gaze openly surveying his features. “Tell you what, Shirley Temple on the house?” she muses, though she’s sure he came there for something stronger. Her demeanor is best kept upbeat, poised and laid-back if she’s going to make it through the night.
