send "plots please" and i'll offer three ideas for plots which our muses could have together! (ALWAYS ACCEPTING!)
as a renowned sucker for wrong place at the wrong time vibes, the idea that these two become intrinsically connected bc they both witnessed one another in an illegal act on separate occasions is really appealing, and like. without question we could play with the notions of fate and destiny with this, but i also vibe hard with the notion that eddy and aisling share a kind of logic and reasoning with each other in that they'd end up following similar paths in life and in the city. like they keep bumping into one another, they don't exchange contact details immediately, they just keep meeting by pure coincidence. and that being how they get to know each other, through a series of unexpected encounters and unplanned crossings of paths, could make for such a fun and versatile thread where it's like. okay, this has run itself to the end, timeskip, here's their next unplanned encounter!
but i'm also weak for any kind of "i didn't know where else to go." "you came to the right place." energy, and they'd EMBODY that, i fear. like on both sides, and not just for physical wounds. the kind of energy of like, the audience would never question how they know where the other person lives, it's just that they've been meeting one another for so long that they kinda picked up on things (directions they'd depart in, aisling's apron, how long it took them to run in a rainstorm, little clues that indicate how far they are from their abodes). then we'd get the more intimate vulnerabilities on BOTH sides, like this is someone's home, they're exposing this part of their life, but the other person is also showing up in a vulnerable state!
this is just a straight-up AU, but i'm not a strong woman: a witness protection programme AU where they have to either go into the programme itself or they go on the run together to try and stay undercover while also uncovering the truth of the crime they witnessed, we get the improv, we get the light-hearted moments of levity, we get the angst of being far from home and also in grave danger, like. i just feel that it's a real edling energy!!
