     IT WAS A WHILE AGO THAT HE’D GIVEN TONY A KEY TO HIS PLACE. They barely used Eddy’s place. So when he came home at quarter to five in the morning he didn’t expect to find Tony to be there. Keys were tossed into a ceramic bowl on a console table by his front door. He had been up all night and he looked like a gory character out of a Halloween escape house. Only it wasn’t special effects makeup. While dragging his tired body through his corridor into the open space kitchen and living area, he recognized the smell of Tony’s cooking. He found Tony in his bed.

Eddy was relieved to see that he was sleeping, but he was also glad just to see him there. It was always such a beautiful view of his boyfriend sleeping peacefully. He enjoyed the sight for a second, before carefully making his way to his bathroom and closing the door quietly behind him. A short moment later, sounds of rummaging could be heard from the bathroom, as Eddy was struggling to strip off his clothes sticking to his wounds. Then came the sound of the shower running.

          “Do I look like shit -- ok. Yes. -- but. Do I feel like shit...also yes. Yes very much so. I feel...awful.” but just as rapidly as his statement is released, Jakob clasps his hands together in a prayer motion and purses his lips. “But I need you to not worry since I’ve been in remission for a long, long time now...it’s...probably my blood sugar or something...”

polly was left stunned with his offer, her heart skipping a beat the moment she heard it and her muscles tensing from the lifechanging decision she had to make in a matter of seconds. "join you?" she muttered with shaky chuckles leaving her, nervously running her fingers through her curled locks of hair, deciding to take some steps forward towards his desk. "I don't... I mean..." she was mainly intrigued as to why vincenzo chose her to be his companion when there were other girls that were even wishing for that offer to be made to them. for polly, it was unexpected. a lavish life with a man that could be considered her second boss sounded like a fairytale, but it was a close reality. "why me?" she couldn't imagine vincenzo having any sort of crush towards her whatsoever, so she was puzzled with that. "what made you choose me?"

she   walks   up   to   his   bedroom,   pillow   wrapped   in   her   arms,   socks   bunched   up   around   her   ankles.   it’s   dark,   nothing   but   the   light   from   a   street   lamp   bleeding   into   the   room   and   the   flicking   light   of   tonys   laptop   being   charged   in   the   corner.   she   clears   her   throat,   interrupting   the   sound   of   tonys   soft   snoring.   he   looks   at   her,   sleepily,   and   she   takes   a   couple   steps   into   the   room.            ‘   not   a   demon   —   just   a   bitch.   ’            she   clarifies   with   a   tired,   gravely   voice.            ‘   i’m   sorry   i   yelled   at   you.   i   was   just   —   ya   know   —   having   a   moment.   but   i   am   sorry.   ’            she   lays   half   on   the   bed,   her   legs   still   hanging   off   and   resting   on   the   ground.            ‘   can   i   sleep   with   you   tonight ?   ’    /  @mafiamade​

  Honey hues slowly gaze over the male. He was beautiful. with a soft sigh, the vampire lays back, eyes still holding their gaze. slender digits brush back his tussled raven locks from his face. he was growing frustrated, he could feel himself on edge, not wanting to take out his hunger induced rage on the other. "I'm starved--” lips pout, but at this point, he knew he didn’t want to drain the life from the male. if only a taste. “forgive me if I seem, troubled. Please, do not take it personally.”

Who in their right minds would dare hurt the new baker in town for a little insubordination? The mafia, Max figured, because he refused to give money for their protection, or their blessing, or whatever fancy word they decided to use that week to show who has the bigger dick around the block.

Naturally, as a man who really had nothing to lose and no patience for this game, Max had refused to pay, unbothered by whatever tantrum the others might throw in response. What he didn’t imagine, however, is that it was going to end with him getting a warning shot on the leg. Maybe he should’ve known better.

The wound was painful enough to make any man fall to the ground, panicking by the profuse bleeding. But he was no normal man. The pain seared through him certainly enough, but all he did was shift the weight of his body to the good leg while his unholy power healed the wound at record speed.

“Let me say that again,” he stated with his thick irish accent. “I ain’t gonna give ya me money. I earned this myself with hard work like to let ya take it just because ya decided ya could.”
