Sighing to herself, Chris just looked tired. She glanced over at the other girl. “Sometimes the only payoff for having any faith is when it's tested again and again everyday. Looking up at the voice, Zoay raised an eyebrow, realizing she’d just been standing there and not taking the order. She quickly shook herself back to attention. “I’m fine. I’m just tired. “Oi, I’m a little busy over here,” Evan said as as he noticed a figure approaching him, but still too focused on dabbing at his bloody nose with his tissue. Then they didn’t move away immediately, he tilted his head to get a better look, almost smiling at her. “Oh, it’s you. ‘Sup? Did you want something because now isn’t really a good time. Would it make you feel better to watch me while I bleed? Because that I can handle.”

Staring down at a blank page, Seth didn’t mean to ignore the girl he was sharing the table with but he looked like he was concentrating very hard. Finally with a groan of frustration he rubbed his hand into his hair roughly. “If I could gather up the nerve I'd put my feelings into words. If I weren't so young, or stupid, or restless... just forget this,” he decided, pushing the notebook away from him and dropping the pen on top of it. “Poetry will never be my talent.”

She didn’t want to do this. That was all Zoey could think as she took a deep breath and rang the doorbell with a bouquet of roses in her hand and the sourest look imaginable on her face. If it wasn’t for the hundred dollars in her pocket and the knowledge that she was completing a dare at the same time kept her standing there. By the time the door opened the hint of a blush was already on her features as she looked at Layla, almost trusting the roses at the girl before. I did pick you back. You’re much better than Lisa, and you can actually draw stuff… and you’re my best friend, so… I don’t really have any other choice,” he muttered, rolling his eyes. “... not that I’d want one. You’re always gonna be my first choice,” he tacked on with a sure nod of his head. “... and I better be yours, crayons or not.”
