McKie & Barrow

Leonie sighed before she turned around. She was already running late, having had to navigate the tabloid reporters and nosey crowds that continually bombarded the police station doors, she was is a fowl mood and had no patience for yet another nosey gossip looking to stir trouble.
She bit down hard on her manners and attempted to remain polite if curt as she spun on her heel to look this stranger sharply in the eye.
The card caught her attention, and her eyes flicked coolly from Mckie’s name card to her face. An /amateur/. This was just what she needed.
“I do mind, actually.” She flicked her own official police inspector badge back at the woman with a stern looks, “and I’m not sure you have the authority to be here, Miss McKie”
Molly took in the badge before returning her gaze to the Inspector’s, though she didn’t seem too startled to discover that she’d likely walked right up to a lion in the lion’s den and very well asked to be eaten. No, Molly merely kept her grin, placing the holder back into her pocket.
“Actually, I do.” She replied, and gestured to the building. “There are certain places I can’t go inside the station, certainly, but I can be in the public spaces. That includes any of the public records that are inside. That’s beside the point--sure you already are aware of that.”
“I’m actually here to see someone inside. They asked to remain anonymous for now, but I’m supposed to meet them in the records. Isn’t that exciting? I was just going to ask you where the records might be inside?”
