The apprentice magician ran full tilt towards him, and jumped in the air at the last second, bowling straight into him, arms and legs wrapped around him affectionately--not particularly caring if both fell over in the process.

"I missed you! Where have you been?"

Her hands shook, both of them wrapped around the staff.

It was the girl that she really liked! The one who played her card really well! The one who danced!

Still in her solid illusion form, the archmage quickly went to her--mostly excited just to see someone both familiar and new. Here was her chance to make new friends in this modern world!

"Hi!" She waved. "Remember me? Oh, well, you probably don't--you're Anzu, right? The dancer?"
