The only reason Sugar was showing up, was because, from what Max grumpily told her, his father was forcing him to show up. The relationship was confusing, to Sugar. Maxwell had told her that his father seemingly wanted Max to keep his distance, at least from his younger brother, but now... well, he was making him show up to something. It was weird, but Sugar settled on not questioning it. Instead, she forced Maxwell to go shopping, picking out nice outfits for the both of them to wear. If they were going to something formal, she was going to make sure that Maxwell looked his best... though she found him attractive regardless of what he had on, annoyingly enough. Eventually they were ready for the event, Sugar easily doing everything she needed, as a lot of her things had transitioned into his house over time. “Come on, we’re gonna be late... and not the fashionable late,” she said, though it was her fault they were taking so long to leave, regardless. Once they arrived, she immediately hooked their arms and led them into the elevator. “Let’s hope... well, that it does break down? You don’t want to be here, do you? We could just stick it out in here the entire party. I have some music on my phone, we’d be fine,” she decided, smiling crookedly, though just as quickly it fell away, along with her arm, as they opened back up to open to a room full of people. Sugar immediately groaned. “Too many people. Can we just say hello to your dad and leave?”
