This entire thing was disgusting. This man had been practically drooling over Jinsun since the moment he walked through that door, and each drink he took he just grew more and more bold. Minsu always tended to keep his distance from his witch in public, it was just how he was, but when he saw the stranger moving towards Jinsun when he had just found the time to sit down the familiar couldn’t take it anymore. It wasn’t even that this guy was a human, he couldn’t care less about that right now. It was the mere fact that someone was staring at his Jinsun like that right in front of him!
Minsu walked over, interrupting the man’s undoubtedly horrible pick up line as he placed himself on the witch’s lap, smiling as he nuzzled at his neck. Normally he wouldn’t even think about holding hands in front of others, but now the familiar was placing gentle kisses along Jinsun’s neck, pausing only to smile at the still in shock human. “I’m sorry, can we help you with something?” Without even giving the man a chance to speak he was turning away to continue showering the witch in affection, lifting a hand only to shoo the troublesome human away.

He knew it was going to be painful, his heart already racing as he looked at the ingredients laying in front of him. He was lucky his witch was such good friends with Yixing, letting the familiar have access to all the things he needed without needing to answer any unwanted questions. But after all this was over, he doubted he’d still be around to thank the shopkeeper for being so nice. In fact, he didn’t plan on being here long enough to say goodbye to the one he was tied to.
Taking a deep breath, Minsu shook off his nervousness as best he could, shaky fingers running over the passage in the old tome in front of him, nodding as he made sure everything was in place. Sending a silent apology, the familiar didn’t wait any longer to start chipping away at the bond he shared with the witch. He just hoped he’d be able to endure the pain, he just hoped that he’d be able to get this done and over with and be gone before Jinsun could return.

Minsu was just trying to get to his friend’s magic shop. He’d been stuck with his witch all day and the only thing he wanted to do was curl up in the presence of those who actually used the magic they were blessed with, but now someone was blocking his path. Letting out a breath, the familiar rolled his eyes as he grumbled out, “Excuse me, you’re in my way.” Truthfully he didn’t even wait long enough to give the person enough time to actually move, but now he was all but yelling, eyes narrowing dangerously.
“I said you’re in my way. MOVE.”

Walking in to see a patron locking lips with his witch wasn’t something Minsu had wanted, hell it took everything he had not to just turn back and instantly retreat into the back room. The hurt he felt quickly turning to rage as soon as the situation was explained, the familiar shifting on his feet, hands clenching and unclenching at his sides. The only thing that seemed to help was when Jinsun pulled him into a hug, his body instinctively relaxing.
“It wasn’t your fault, you don’t owe anyone an apology... That asshole, however.... Let go of me, I’m going to go out and kick the shit out of him. Who the fuck does he think he is doing something like that? I should have come down sooner, if I had I would have kicked him out myself before he could even bug you like that.”

It was just a normal lazy day, relaxing at the shop with Yixing while Jinsun was at practice. It wasn’t unusual for him to be lounging around by the old tomes, sticking his nose into every magical thing that he could. He was just about to take a little cat nap when he felt something, head instantly peeking up.
That type of power.... Even not being bonded to the witch, he could feel it. “Yix, I’m going home.” He said quickly, not even waiting for the older male to say goodbye before he was slipping out of the door. He didn’t want to approach, not just yet. Instead he spent the next hour, simply following the stranger, hiding behind any trashcans or poles he passed just so he didn’t get spotted out. If it actually worked however, that was a different story.

Had he been glaring? Yes. Was he thinking about clawing that asshole’s eyes out every time he glanced over at him? Yes. Yes he jealous? Definitely. But was he actually going to voice that? Hell no. Even as the other wrapped an arm around him the familiar swatted at him, feigning his usual distaste of affection.
“I’m not jealous... But if you go back over there to ask him out I swear I am clawing the shit out of every piece of furniture you own. Don’t test me, Jinsun.”
@bornxidols
He could still remember what it was like there. The fear was still there, the feeling of always being watched, the anxiety of never knowing when he’d get out, if he’d get out. The nights of silent hopes that Jinsun would find him, that his witch would be able to save him. The sudden hand on his shoulder brought him right back to his frightened state and Minsu jumped, not knowing if the touch would bring pain or far worse. Looking over quickly his gaze shot downward to hide his startled expression once he realized who it was, remembered that he was safe and no longer in that place of torture. Jinsun probably called out for him, asked a question but the familiar was just too lost in his own memories to hear, but that didn’t slow his now racing heart at a mere touch of his shoulder.
“S-sorry, I was lost in my own world... Was I not listening again?”
