♚ Do you agree with fandom interpretation of your character? ✎ What do you wish the author would reveal/had revealed about your muse?
♚ - In general, yes, because the fandom I interact with tends to be like-minded. I do, however, disagree with those who view Kylo Ren’s portrayal as that of a weak man. I think he has tremendous strength of body and mind, the former has been amply demonstrated by his remarkably skilled use of the Force (despite its evident instability) and the mastery displayed in his fight against Rey and Finn whilst deeply wounded by a bowcaster shot (that would have felled lesser men). Also, very few high-rank Force users have demonstrated such skill before. It is clear to me that the Force is a cause of great pain and conflict coupled with his natural temper, and that it took a lot of self-control and discipline to wield it and to do what he thought he needed to do on Starkiller bridge.
✎ - There are a lot of unanswered questions around Ben’s past and his fall from grace. I’m sure these will be answered in the next installments, but the issues I’m most curios about are his actual age and his days as a Padawan, and at what age he turned to the Dark Side and what exactly triggered his downfall. It is clear he was conflicted and that Snoke took advantage of his doubt and potential, but it would be interesting to see the development - it took some serious anger and commitment to betray and murder his fellow Padawans, so I’d like to understand how he got to that point. Also I’d like to know more about his relationship with his parents, Luke and Chewie prior to his departure, and why does he seem to know Rey from before (at least his reactions to her suggest that he knows who she is). Finally, how much does he know about Vader and his last moment of redemption, and what exactly it is about Vader’s vision that he wants to fulfill - in essence, his true end game.
