-Party for friends
Friday:
-finish packing
-get on a bus late afternoon to go home (9 hour trip)
This doesn’t include other little things on my to-do list either.... so needless to say, I might be a bit sporadic on here for the rest of the week. Then it’s spring break, which oddly, means less time on here.... Basically, find me on skype and kik more reliably than tumblr for a while.
Oh, wow. There's a lot more people following this brat than I expected given my hiatus and everything. Umm...hi, everyone.
There are actually a few reasons for my prolonged absence from this blog. A lot of them deal with the fact that real life's been kinda complicated for me lately and way beyond stressful what with it coming towards the end of the school year and everything, plus I've been having more and more troubles with personal relationships, which really sucks ass but is slowly getting better. Because I've been stressed a lot over these things, I tend to hide out on one specific blog, and lately it's been Wanda's blog that I hang out on.
Another reason why I've not been on here is because Clint's SO's for his "main verses" (it's too complicated for me to explain right now but yeah, he's got two) haven't been around, so he's been a depressed little shit for those things.
HOWEVER!
The biggest reason for me not being here is simply because Clint's muse has changed significantly in the almost two years that I've RPed as him on here, and I feel as if this blog is both way too disorganized for my liking (I can no longer count on Tumblr saving tags for me and have things tagged with too many different things to be able to formulate a proper navigation page) and doesn't do him justice for how I WANT to portray him.
When I first started this blog out, I started off with an MCU Clint with 616 influences to flesh him out simply because it was what I saw most of and not necessarily what I knew most of or was most comfortable with. The thing is, that's really not my Clint. Not by a long shot. The Clint that lives in my headspace isn't an assassin or a SHIELD agent. He's not a killer who's been brainwashed into doing some really terrible shit. He's an ex-carnie with a bow, some tricked out arrows that he's made, and a give 'em hell attitude who's been beaten, battered, worn down, killed multiples times, resurrected, married, divorced, been around the town a time or two, and so much more who's just way too damn stubborn to know when to quit. That's the Clint that I know and love, the one that I'm used to putting up with 24/7. And that's the Clint that I want to write for. Not some frustratingly mashed together hybrid of him and MCU!Clint.
Don't get me wrong. I love MCU's version of Clint. I do. And I truly enjoy seeing the shenanigans that other RPers who portray him get into. I'm simply tired of trying to portray that version of him when he's not the version of the sassy bastard that I fell in love with when I was four.
Now, what does that mean? Well, simply put, in the next few weeks or so I'm going to be making Clint a new blog and archiving this one. A lot of his verses are going to be transferred over onto the new blog and a lot more new ones will be added based off of certain arcs that I enjoy. Don't worry, when I'm done making the blog, I'll be posting the link on this account so you can decide whether or not you want to follow him, and it will be reblogged sporadically for about a week or so. After that, this blog is going to be archived, and I'm going to be permanently moving over there.
I do plan on having an MCU verse on the new blog, however, it's only going to be that one verse, and whatever else happens in MCU will not affet the rest of Clint's blog. And yes, I'm planning on keeping certain things if my partners are interested in it. If you want to know whether or not I plan on keeping our things, just shoot me a message or something. I'm gonna be around to talk OOC but that's about it until everything's situated.
