It’s been a wonderful journey so far, and I’m happy to finally finish this gift I’ve been working on for my Icewind Dale group! There’s more adventures to be had, and I personally can’t wait for them~

So I might start a weekly trend of nabbing screenshots from watching Critical Role and doing some doodles with some of the expressions of the cast. It’s fun~
featuring Kairo, Talyn and Naiora
Had a small conversation with one of my friends in my D&D group, and we discussed what Blue would look like at level 20, so this came of it lol
The Queen of Twilight herself!
Speaker Naiora Sarphas of Bryn Shander
-
So we managed to defeat the Frost Maiden without any casualties, and during the 2 month time window afterward, Blue was named Speaker of Bryn Shander, and essentially became it’s Mayor.
Her first act was to set up a brand new adventurer’s guild stationed a few miles from Bryn Shander. Zortrin spends his time overseeing the training of any newcomers.
Daycaller serves as her second in command and is a trusted advisor, as well as Naiora’s personal guard. However temporary it may be, she’s glad to have her at her side.
Lapis has spent her time raising undead figures to assist in the rebuilding of the Ten Towns that were razed by a Shardalyn Dragon. While many were cautious about the use of Necromancy, they have ultimately accepted the aid. Lapis remains as Naiora’s Magical Expert.
An alliance has also been promised between Ten Towns, and Arcturus’ Kingdom that will follow the liberation of his Kingdom. Plans are in the work of eventually assisting him in taking back his rightful place.
The sun has returned, and the two years of endless winter has been lifted. More challenges await the group, and Naiora is eager to meet them with newfound strength.
So tonight’s session of Icewind Dale was interesting..
After slaying the ruler of a group of Duregar camped out in a fortress, Blue found herself exploring some of the unopened back rooms, along with Daycaller and Arcturus. With what they thought was the main boss defeated, she expected to find storage and other menial loot. Instead, she found herself forced to enter, - and subsequently trapped in - a room by a Devil seeking to make her sign a contract.
Acting like she was going to sign it, she instead tricked the devil and attacked it by grabbing its wrist and casting Inflict Wounds. Thankfully, she didn’t have to face it alone, as Zortrin managed to break through the door right as this happened.
Though in its dying breath, the Devil vowed that it would come back for her...
“...Maybe this wouldn’t have happened, if I hadn’t convinced you to join us... Or maybe if I was stronger... You could’ve retired, grew old, lived a comfortable life... For what it’s worth, I’m sorry...” (x)
In last night’s session of Icewind Dale, Hagrid, the group’s Dwarven Artificer was killed during a fight against a frost giant and its mammoth. Naiora is trying her best to hold herself together, but it’s difficult when her friend was crushed by a rock just a few feet from where she stood. She is going to go by Daycaller’s words, though, and keep him in her memory.
@fortunefavcred asked:
"Stay behind me” for Naiora from Dain
(Send “Stay behind me” for my muse’s reaction to yours gently pushing them being their body.)
“...” She’s silent as she’s guided by his hand, brows furrowed as Dain effectively put himself between her and the group of cutthroats. They’d been accosted on the road, claiming that they could pay a toll to pass through unharmed.. or Dain could ‘lend them that pretty face’.
He’d pulled her back right before she could send a well-earned Guiding Bolt straight into the smug asshole’s face. Truth be told, whatever fate waited these men was probably far worse in Dain’s hands anyway...
So ah, I forgot to go over what happened in our dnd sessions this past weekend.
Icewind Dale -
A Mythril Dragon landed in Bryn Shander, Naiora’s hometown, and threatened to destroy it. Thankfully, our group managed to bring the dragon down, but she happened to be the only one that nearly died from the encounter - only to find out after the fact that her parents are now missing.
Eberron -
Vynania and the group, slightly wounded and weary, decided to ultimately go up against the beholder they were supposed to go after. The group won, but at quite a heavy cost, as it took the lives of Hawth, Alistair, and Jacob. Vynania, additionally, was left petrified with a promise of one day returning for her.
The other players have taken to calling her the ‘weeping angel’, on account of the fact that she was petrified in the middle of trying to help Alistair, who had also been petrified at the time. Her hands had froze in place, resting on either side of his head and are now left grasping nothing but air.
