Thus far, he had been spending most of his time in this place silently studying it and figuring out what precisely there was about it. He had been keeping interaction to a bit of a minimum--too much trouble, while he was still figuring things out.
Still, at least now, Kazuma felt like he could walk the streets of the city with a bit less worry. Enough to where he could stare, with a bit of confusion, at the strange creatures wandering around the so-called ‘Netwalk’.
‘Netpups’, they were called. That was the name he’d overheard, anyways. Truth be told, he’d noticed variations of these creatures wandering around the different wards. It raised quite a question in his mind: what was their purpose? Were they meant to monitor the people here? If so, was it wise of him to be interacting with them so brazenly?
He gestured down at one, mimicking the calls he’d seen other citizens use to get their attention. The dog seemed to acknowledge him for a moment... before walking off, ignoring him completely.
“What, do you want a treat...?” What exactly settled for a treat for something with a tablet for a head? A charging cable? He slumped his shoulders, leaning back into his chair as he watched the dog rejoin its pack.
"I wonder... What exactly are they here for?”
