April put her hands on her hips, a smirk curving the corner of her mouth up. “You gonna make me shut up?”

April grinned at her boyfriend from across the table. "Are you trying to smooth talk me by calling me a mermaid?"

April had just gotten out of the shower and had only caught the tail end of hearing Norman. She was in the midst of towel drying her hair but when she saw him she simply smirked and gave a shrug. “If I’m being honest, I didn’t hear ya come back and I was about to start apologizing but...” She walked over to him and pulled him close enough so her lips were hovering over his. “Thank you, seeing as you don’t seem to mind too much.”

April felt a smile tugging on her lips when she looked at him. “Whatya mean by that?” She asked curiously.

April held his chin in her hand while she put the wet rag against the wound, her lips pursed as she wiped more blood away. “What did you get yourself into..?” She asked quietly, her head shaking. “Unless this is fake blood..that would definitely be a nice surprise here.”
