Some Headcanons
The Mako High: It as been mentioned before that ZJ is in a band known has a ‘The Mako High’. (The idea for the name was ZJ’s, and so was the solgan; Music is a drug, so drug responsibly and listen to music. It was readily accepted with a lot of drunken hoots of laughter.) While he does do mostly lyric writing, he typically plays the drums despite the fact that he his a far better guitarist. Mostly because he has major stage fright and tries not to draw attention to himself.
The other bands members include (Nicknames as provided by ZJ);
Trixie “Fling Queen”: The lead guitarist and singer. For the most part, off-stage Trixie is very calm and collected, very agreeable and well known for being hard to ruffle. On-stage, she is a iron queen and rules her musical kingdom without rivals. The nickname came from a ten-point shot to the forehead she made on somebody that tried to yank her off the stage add her reputation as a ‘queen’.
Caley “Bitch-Stomping-Boots”: She’s the keyboardist and often makes lyric suggestions. An aggressive personality with a skewed sense of morals wrapped up in thin layer of misanthropy and her infamous combat boots. She takes no shit from anyone and it takes forever to earn her trust. The nickname, of course, comes from the boots she wears all the time and her bad attitude that she is unafraid of shoving down the throats of those who upset her.
Dean “Mr Smiley”: The base guitarist and back up drummer. His music is the loudest part of the band, and as a six-foot-four man of muscles and defining features of ‘Thick as a tree trunk’ and ‘Resting Bitchface’, Dean’s a hard guy to think of as cuddly. But, as a matter of fact, he is by far one of the nicer members and the others often say he needs to stand up better for himself. For this nickname, ZJ originally called him ‘Grumpy Gills’ for his fondness of fish and his face, but was changed when he realized it made Dean unhappy.
Tim “The Bat Boy”: Technically speaking he has no playing or singing parts for most of the time- though Tim does occasionally sing back up, but he is considered an integral part of the band. When not affected by his severe PTSD, Tim is a sweet boy and eager to please. He spends most of his time with the band by helping setting up for concerts. When affected by the PTSD, he is extremely anti-social and rarely recognizes anyone. ‘Bat Boy’ comes from his ability to see and hear well in the dark, and the fact that he almost hit ZJ over the head with a baseball bat the day they met.
