A starter for @pandoras-eternity
The night was like any other ― such is the monotony of the feeding habits of a vampire. Stroll the streets, linger in shadows, feed on a human, rinse and repeat. But at least the moon was full and bright, and the air cold and eerily quiet. Just how he liked it.
Luis had a lock on his prey. He'd been following the man for some time in fact ― keeping enough of a distance to not warrant suspicion, but close enough that he wouldn't allow him to get away. His ravenous hunger had dulled all other senses, perhaps a rookie mistake, but he was confident in his ability. The smell of blood lingered in his nostrils, hands and feet twitching in anticipation while he waited for the opportune moment to attack.
His tunnel vision had ensured that he was blissfully unaware that he was not the only vampire to have placed a target on the humans' back.
The time was right; the human was distracted by their phone. Luis took full advantage of the opening and moved in for the kill.
