Lynx, who was often quiet, for once spoke more than she has ever in a conversation with basically any of the instructors at her company. Everything spoken had always been strictly for business purpose and therefor mostly listened rather than speak, besides she had six other mouths that spoke for her. “Have you put her in any ballet lessons yet? If you don’t mind me asking, how old is your daughter?” it happened to be a rather interesting conversation to her and one in which she took pleasure in participating in.

Aconite Reveals Secret Behind Tears At Comeback Showcase

Rookie girl group Aconite recently made their comeback last week Tuesday with their title track “A Girl Like Me” and 2nd mini album “Vainglory”. The group had announced their comeback was to be pushed to the middle/end of the month of June due to some complications that were brought up, so the group was unable to comeback successfully at the beginning of the month.

This piece of information is linked to the heart filled event that took place at the seven-member girl group’s first comeback showcase. A song, lyrics written by Aconite member Swan, by the name of “Downpour” caught the eye of many fans and netizens. The girls were unable to deliver a proper performance due to their tears that had them all choked up. It wasn’t until recently, in an interview, a few days ago that leader Lynx had explained their situation.

According to the interview Lynx said, “many, for a few days, have been curious as to what our situation was during our last performance [Downpour] and I’d like to take this time to explain that although this song means differently to Swan, we all have felt a hole since we debuted. We’ve been struggling [to make money] since then and all have worked hard.”

From then each of the members explained that they have taken up different jobs from working at coffee shops all the way to modeling. It’s a shame to see such a talented group like Aconite be struggling to make it in the industry, but it also shows that there’s still more to work for even after debut. According to the writer of the lyrics, Swan, she has explained that the lyrics talk about a parting with someone and in this case the girls have all parted, sadly, with those who once supported them. The performance was an emotional one as the girls could not forget all the hardships from their trainee years up to their first comeback.

Although it is a sad parting for the girls and those who have once supported them, please continue to support Aconite so these talented monster rookies don’t have to work part time jobs during their breaks.

[Vlive Showcase] 아코나이트 (Aconite)_Vainglory

On June 20th, Rookie girl group Aconite made their comeback as vain witches in hope to find love for themselves. The girls held yet another concert length showcase that showcased not only their music but covers of senior idols’ songs as well as showcasing three pre-released songs.

According to Double Kill, the girl group was supposedly to comeback earlier in the month but delayed and although there is still no statement as to what the set back was it could be due to the fact that Aconite had learned several different routines as well as fixing their schedules to fit their senior’s schedule. Senior Mellow member Juniper (@95vii) made an appearance in Aconite’s pre-released song titled “Bang” alongside with ex-Jellybeans members (to debut as Blush) Ari (@gvareum) and Kimiko (@kimoriz).

Aconite continues to wow the public with their outstanding performances which have gained them titles such as monster rookie idols due to their amazing stage presence and performance live. Once again, the girls have dedicated a song to their fans titled “Over N Over” but it is not the song that has captured to hearts of the fans, but “Downpour” which was the closing song to Aconite’s comeback showcase. Through this vlive the girls can be seen shedding tears as soon as their last song is played and through ‘till the end. The mystery behind the tears have yet to be revealed, so hopefully the members of Aconite will be able to touch up on what happened during their last performance at their comeback showcase.

Aconite Comeback As Vain Witches!

Aconite has finally dropped their awaited comeback music video for “A Girl Like Me” and have returned this time as vain witches. According to the teasers, and Double Kill themselves, the genius rookie group has decided to take a different path from being creators of love to finding love.

The story line can be pieced together by the music videos that have been released from the girls’ debut to their first comeback. “A Girl Like Me” is a song that expresses oneself and has an overflowing amount of confidence as the girl tries to get the boy to fall in love with her.

The music video, shockingly, is still filled with rather bright colors and in contrast to that the girls have also used many dark colors to highlight the fact that this is in fact a rather edgier concept. It goes along well with the concept chosen, witches, but still allows room for the playful girl group Aconite have debuted as back in February. Along with the song and overall theme of vanity, each member can be seen in a different type of self confidence whether it be a room of mirrors to a room with their faces all over, the music seems to have matched well.

Aconite Releases 2nd Mini Album “Vainglory”

Vainglory was released June 20th 2017 and is Aconite’s first comeback. The mini album title has relations to the girl group’s title track “A Girl Like Me” as it is a song that has confidence in one’s appearance, hence the constant want in making the person their lover as they’ve never seen a girl like them. The over all album holds all sorts of love songs, breakups even, but also shows some sort of confidence in each.

The mini album is produced by several people which include Horae, VYBE (company duo: @moonbmsk & @rizalxbin), Zion (idol trio: @edensi, @hyeonxu & swan), as well as the girl group, Aconite themselves. All have come together to create a masterpiece album that highlights the group’s overall sound. The mini album even includes a song that was written for fans, “Over N Over”. The overall mini has a sound that is quite similar to the group’s debut, but has added an edge to it was the rookie’s concept.

After their performance jongup was really tired so he decided to sit beside the girl, he started telling her an embarrassing story that had just happened, he couldnt stop laughing at himself. “Yes.. that just happened! My shoe flew out of my foot! I hope no one noticed it. This is so embarrassing” he hid his face with both hands, still laughing.

It was probably one of the more common things idols didn’t want to happen to them, but it also served a purpose to be trained in being professional about those types of situations. A smile crept on the girl group leader’s face as her senior laughed at his little story. “Well, you know what they say, can’t always have a perfect performance but I hope you were able to retrieve your shoe.”

upon hearing her leader’s unexpected rap, dana couldn’t help but to laugh. despite her knowledge of the red head’s secret talent was always taken to surprise every time. “be aggressive with your words,” of course, she was no professional rapper but having an interest in hiphop she’s learned a few things, “be witty and do your research on the person you’re dissing! that’s always the best route to go, that of course, if you’re good at freestyling.”

“So I have to be aggressive? I’m going to have to learn how to do that then.” the leader flashed a friendly smile as she thought about what it would be like to have been a rapper, it wasn’t that she didn’t want to be a vocalist but sometimes rapping sounded more fun. "So dissing someone is like studying, as much as I love school I didn’t think that would ever apply to this. I’ll need to take some lessons on how to rap then, maybe one of you will be able to teach me how some day.” Lynx replied. She’s written lyrics for songs but hasn’t ever really focused on the rap section as the red head enjoyed it when her members took part in something they specialized in.

[PREVIEW] ACONITE_2ND MINI ALBUM_VAINGLORY

After the constant teasing of genius rookie girl group Aconite’s comeback, Double Kill has finally released a medley highlight of their 2nd mini album titled, “Vainglory”.

Aconite had revealed that their debut is actually brightly colored but uses a dark theme to bring out an edgier side to them, which was then said to be the other half of Aconite. The concept for this comeback is witches and the girls have all participated in creating their second mini album along with the help of famous producers such as Horae, a rather newly popular group of producers, Double Kill’s producing duo VYBE ((@moonbmsk) and as well as Zion who is said to be made up of Utopia’s Eden (@edensi), yet to debut boy group Knockback’s Grim (@hyeonxu) and lastly Aconite’s Swan. The idol trio has so far produced one track for fellow label mate, Yanyan of Aconite, and has participated in a few songs from Aconite’s new album.

It seems that Aconite is living up to their label as 2017′s genius rookie idol group as the mini album consists of music that was, once again, worked on by the members and there is one in particular that is written just for fans, the song is titled “Over N Over”. The over all color of the album still stays within the girl group’s image at is seen as playful yet as hard hitting beats that compliments the edgier concept the girls have decided to display. “A Girl Like Me”, although not worked on the members, the lyrics were written by the members and each have written the lyrics to fit the concept of vanity. It’s a fitting title for this edge concept of witches. There is only a few more days until Aconite’s comeback, so make sure to keep an eye out for the girls.

She couldn’t wait to get her braces removed because one it was a pain in the but to go to the checkups as well as keep them clean and then there was that thing where people stared a little too hard. So far she’s heard pretty much everyone say that braces were cute, but she didn’t have them to look cute she simply had them to have a better appearance later with her smile. “It’s kind of weird, don’t you think?”

Aconite Releases Individual Member Teaser Photos of Cho & Albie

Two new teasers have been released for Aconite’s first comeback “A Girl Like Me”. The eldest members have finally made their appearance both of which to be sporting a more neutral look, but leaning more towards the darker side with all the dark clothing seen. Members Cho (@cvoiko) and Albie (@bcnhevr) are so far no where close to the type of concept that was given to the first member, Lynx.

Fans are left believing that the theme for this concept has a lot to do with the battle of good and evil leaving the eldest members to be in between as they may have more knowledge of either side, but so far no further information has been released, making this concept out to be battled out by the fans’ theories. Maybe it is more simple than that.

Double Kill has revealed that with the mirror incorporated it has more to do with oneself than others. Both member teaser reveals are, putting theories aside, visually pleasing. There is definitely a shift in the groups looks with this darker themed comeback, making them to appear a little more mature than what Aconite had debuted with. More information will be revealed as the comeback approaches, so make sure to keep an eye out for more clues on the rookie group’s first comeback.

Aconite Releases Individual Member Teaser Photos of Swan & Yanyan

 After the teaser release of Aconite member Lynx, Double Kill has released two photos this time of members Swan (@jistrum) and Yanyan (@mingyanx). The teaser format seems to be the same as the concept still revolves around a movie themed teaser with the mirror as a hint.

Although the first teaser has taken a dark turn it seems that maybe the other members do not play the focus or main character as leader Lynx’s concept seemed to be fitting to play the evil queen while here Yanyan’s concept is a little more toned down from that, but definitely could be a darker character herself. Swan’s teaser photo seemed to be more of an pure concept as she strikes a rather innocent pose dressed in all white.

More information is however still to be released, but with these teaser photos it seems the group is going the path of snow white especially since the mirror is now seen in three members’ concept photos. Hopefully, more will be revealed as the rest of the members are revealed. Look out for the final release of “A Girl Like Me” and support Aconite’s first comeback.

Aconite Releases Individual Member Teaser Photos of Lynx

Last month, Double Kill’s genius rookie girl group, Aconite, announced they would be having a comeback in June with little information about what the concept would be this time around. The first member teaser photo is a movie themed photo of Aconite member, Lynx ( @lynxri ).

With the first teaser photo release, it seems like our little cupids have taken a dark turn somewhere from their debut to now with this photo concept of Lynx and an apple. The mirror could be a symbolism for love for oneself, maybe the cupids are looking for self love rather than bringing couples together.

Lynx for the girl group’s first comeback has decided to grow her hair out and earlier was able to be seen with red for a color choice. It definitely goes well with this dark concept the girls seem to be going with. Double Kill has revealed that the key to understanding this concept lies within the debut concept and sequel concept. There is more to come so keep an eye out for more teasers until the final release of “A Girl Like Me”.

mingxia had never been particularly good at math… or anything academic, for that matter. she was good at art. singing, dancing, painting… those were the things she was good at. her skills in the subject have worsened while in korea, since she no longer went to school. being the responsible maknae she was, she took it upon herself to practice. and girl, she was struggling. “it is?” she questioned, glancing down at the paper. “well… yeah. i’m not that good though.”

It was understandable that some of the members would want to put their studies on hold, but it did sadden the elder a bit as she could only think about what would happen if this didn’t work out. It was only logical to think about how long they’d be singers, isn’t that right? one day this would come to an end, it wasn’t something she thought about too often as they had just started their career but that was always a thought in the back of her mind. All she wanted as a leader was for her members to be successful in more than one thing. “Yeah, but it helped to know the correct formula for the equation, so that’s probably why it was easier for you.” Lynx responded as the tip of her pencil tapped against the paper, demonstrating what it was she was speaking about. “Great job though. Do these problems and then you’re done for the day.”
