Respect to the Earth Mother and Sun, overseer of life and tender of the beauty that sustains us. Watcher and nurturer of all, from the smallest seed to the greatest tree. Respect to the Little Water Beetle, the crafter of the world, finder of the first earth. He who dove to retrieve what would become our world. Respect to the Free Father, evoker of revelry and herald of joy. Destroyer of shame and arbiter of autonomy, hedonic lord of abundance. Respect to the spirits to come and go, the ones who inhabit and cultivate the world around us, ancestors and ghosts, remnants of what was and what will be, and all the wisdom and memory they possess.

Earth Mother and Free Father, I have offered a space decorated of jewelry and gold, and I humbly ask that should you favor, you mark my nearing days and path with fortune. Grant us luck and protection that we should be able to remain in our home, that the tides of fate should flow our way and as such we can bear further witness to both the wonders of the earth and the lights of freedom, which you each herald and champion.

Spirits of October, of the autumn, the heralds of the cold winds and the watchers of change, witness my travels and guide my steps. The ephemeral reapers and the angels of rest, ushers of decay and rebirth. In this, my most favored season and the birth date of my true self, keep me in the hands and heart of the Great Mother, and let the earth spill out before me, my road long and my trials surmountable, that I may return home without being reduced to a ghost.

                                 ; Angels didn’t SLEEP. Only if your power was an issue would sleep be a n e c e s s i t y .             If it was           ; one would not deem to do so at a human DEPARTMENT store.

T h e r e f o r e ; it stood to REASON something must be wrong. Unconsciousness may have been  f o r c e d  at the point of a BLADE.

“...” He was TEMPTED.  O f   c o u r s e  he was tempted                   As rushing headlong into the depths would be foolishness; he’d held off, at least temporarily.

Their existence was TURBULENT enough. He had no wish for more upheaval      ; as much as he wanted nothing more than to  d r o w n                            ; welcoming warmth and fire; heavy breaths & SEEKING fingers.

No doubt Dean recognized how CLOSE he was to giving in,  n o   m a t t e r  his doubts. His fingers rubbed together restlessly     ; itching to touch, to pull and  t u g , map freckled CONSTELLATIONS.He refused to fist his hand; fidgeting was enough of a tell.

“Are you sure you’ve entirely thought this through?” Came the next question, instead of another QUERY of if he was alright, or why. He was balancing on the  p r e c i p i c e. Now he was more concerned with if Dean EXPECTED to brush this off like all his other  t a w d r y  one-night stands once he gave in. If so Castiel would NOT be pleased.
