Psych 101 - The difference in his psycho/socio verses:
((We can do either anti social personality disorder for any verse with a little bit of tweaking.))
Psychopath: Billy holds his jobs well, is highly educated, and is able to maintain relationships. To the outside eye he is charming, and fits in well. Although he is unable to feel human emotions, he is very adept at mimicking them. Even though he cannot feel human emotions, Billy might have a sort of ‘fondness’ for another person, though that is usually fickle, and only lasts as long as they serve some kind of purpose in his life. (Ex: Teaching him something, being a challenge, being someone who can help him get ahead, ect.). If a crime is committed, it is well thought out and planned.
Sociopath: Billy will often appear to be ‘off the rails’. It is hard for him to maintain regular work, and because of this he switches employment frequently. In school, he had a hard time maintaining his grades, even though he is still highly intelligent. As a sociopath, he is able to feel empathy, and a range of human emotions, however this can result in impulse control issues. When a crime occurs, it is not thought out or planned, but instead done in a moment of emotional outburst.
