           Vigilant eyes were always on the prowl for quick scans of speedy rescues, and although she couldn’t be everywhere at the same time ( which eats at her when she can’t save someone ), she tries her best to predict areas where trouble could most likely occur. But spontaneous accidents were always likely, so when the boy with his head down continued to walk the crosswalk while cars were passing by, she didn’t even think when she reached out, grabbing a fistful of the back of his shirt, and pulling him back before a car could potentially run his over. “How about trying not to die.”

           At this point in her life, she just said fuck it to most things. It wasn’t the kind of attitude a self-proclaimed ‘superhero’ should be having, but with her flaring temper, sometimes it was all she could do to keep herself calm. But she should be considerate to his worried. After all, poisons would be easily filtered out of her system, but not without first causing some disruption throughout her bodily functions before passing through. 

           She was fairly confident she would have been able to taste something off about the nachos if there was poison in it, but was still aware some poisons were odorless and tasteless for higher accuracy. But besides the staleness of the dish, due to the fact that the man who handed it to her had lingered about the decision that he was no longer hungry, she had no real reason to suspect the feast. 

           “Sometimes, you’ve got to have a little faith in other people.”

      “Hey! Norma yelled as she grabbed the woman and pulled her out of the road. “Why are you standing out in the street like that?”

      Norma sat on the floor with her back against the cold cement wall. She had been knocked out, at least she thought she had been. There had been some time missing and she wasn’t exactly sure what had happened. It was possible that he had drugged her and brought her down here. 

      The only thing that she was sure of was that she had a dull headache and she was sick to her stomach. She wasn’t even sure as to whether or not she could stand right now or what she would even do if she could. 

      Still groggy, she started feeling around in her pockets, not really sure of what it was that she was searching for. Once she felt her phone, it clicked. She wanted to call for help. It was hard for her to see, her vision blurring as she grabbed her phone. 

      She did her best, texting the one man she knew. “Help. James Finnigan house.” Was all she could type before darkness completely enveloped her.

His eyes shot open. The sun was not up yet, it wouldn't be for a few hours. But, this is when Bertholdt said they would get ready. This was when he said they will do their mission, their mission to save Mikasa's parents from his father.

Bertholdt groaned, as he brushed his hands down his face. It was like every other mission, he told himself...every other mission, nothing different. That's what it should be....Thinking about it, this was the first time he would be facing people with other super human powers. He could easily fight against guns, or normal humans...but what of other people like him. That's the army his father had put together....He should stop thinking about it, it was only making him more nervous.

It was no use sneaking out of the base. He was fairly sure Erwin already knew of his plan with Mikasa. The fact that he did not stop him...well, Bertholdt could take that as a good sign? They would be back, after all this was where they were hiding her parents until his father was dealt with. Putting his sweater on over his uniform, he walked outside, and made his way to Mikasa's place.He had to wonder how Mikasa was fairing. Hopefully better after yesterday's incident. He soon was about to find out, as he made his way up to her door. Softly he knocked. "Mikasa..." He said, quietly, hoping she was up.
