with the tap to her shoulder, the girl turned her head to look at the other. the idea of her taking notes was almost laughable. “ no, i didn’t ” she never did – it was a miracle cassie had even gone to class; the difference was that she didn’t have a good excuse for it, if any at all. she simply didn’t like classes and could barely stand staying there for so long – she really was far from being a decent student. “where were you anyway? ”
Well, she wasn’t very helpful. She’ll remember it for next time ( although she didn’t plan ahead her off days, she knew some days she wouldn’t be able to help it ), and ask some other classmate that seemed more diligent about their school work ( but not too diligent, for then they become snotty and annoying about giving up their notes to others, especially with her more delinquent-like appearance ).
But she didn’t expect the other to be curious about her whereabouts, hardly knowing her other then her name and face. And so, put on the spot ( usually a good liar, it wasn’t as if she enjoyed it ) she said the first thing that came to mind. “Had the shits, didn’t feel up to coming to class after that battle.” Fuck, why did she have to phrase it like that?
