seeing as shiah was a trainee on the newer ish side, she was able to take the time to go to the bubble festival after training on the weekend. unlike the luxe girls who were merely here to perform (which shiah was pretty geeked about) she was able to enjoy the festival casually, wandering about with her bubble wand in tow. she had decided to come alone, despite wanting to bring her sister along, but she knew her mother would never allow it. they weren’t even allowed to speak to each other as long as hyunah was under their mother’s roof. it was upsetting, but she tried not to let it bother her as she explored the festival and what it had to offer.
as she perused, she found her gaze landing on a familiar girl. at first, shiah had no idea where she knew her from, but as she thought on it it slowly came to her, dawning in a moment of split recognition. “instagram!” she hadn’t meant to exclaim the word out loud, which probably earned some attention from surrounding people, maybe even the girl herself, but now she remembered where she knew this girl from. she was a follower of her’s that always commented on her photos with very sweet and encouraging messages. whenever a hater popped up, shiah always liked to read over sakura’s comments to make herself feel better. she was a sweetheart through and through. she hadn’t had the chance to meet her until now, but she was most pleased that the opportunity had landed before her.
