@mad-hunts was chastised
"you're bleeding again." Observed idly by Sci, looking at their current travelling companion, nose slightly wrinkled. It shoves its glasses back up their nose, annoyed by how often they seem to fall down the bridge of it lately. Its tired of fixing things. It wants new things, but there wasn't the likelihood of that any time soon. "sit down."
Its tone is biting, barking as they whirl around on Barton, hands on hips, all but pouting at him. They flick their hair out of their eyes and then raise a hand and wag it in his direction. "and this is the last time i'm changing your bandages."

Go to Earth, they said, it'll be a brand new opportunity to study, they said. Maybe that was true! Maybe it was true, but here Sci was, stuck on top of a roof and the person who had, for whatever reason, decided to try and get it down was on the ground, LADDER INCLUDED, with a bone sticking out of his skin! Sci knew a thing or two about humans, and that was that bones? BONES were meant to be INSIDE the skin at all times, more or less!
"you are foolish." Sci says, not holding back even slightly. "you dropped the ladder."
And to Sci, that's the biggest sin of all. It didn't need Barton to come up here and help but it did need the ladder to get down!
"my jacket will not help you keep warm." In fact, it did the opposite. The jacket helped it keep cold. It weighs its options. And then it sighs, loudly. It didn't want to do this because it would mean endless mocking from its crewmates, but it couldn't stay on a roof forever.
...and that human down there did need medical attention. Even if he was a fool.
"i will call in my friends, they will help us. you will not die." Which is about as kind as Sci gets when it comes to reassurance.

Sci can only watch in something like abject horror as Zim begins pulling the small intestine out and just. Plops it right on the table. He's flabbergasted. Agog. He is completely and utterly speechless.
It takes Sci a moment to regain any sort of sense of his surroundings and what just happened but when it finally smacks back into him what Zim has just done he just snaps.
"what is wrong with you?" This is some kind of divine punishment. Some kind of punishment for all his wrongs, Sci is suddenly sure of it. "that- we aren't- this isn't a dissection!"

The laboratory is so cold Sci is certain if he took the oxygen mask off this human subject, he'd see their breath. All the same as he slices the scalpel down their front, he's pleased to see steam rising from the incision as hot, internal forces are exposed to the chill of the room.
He doesn't bother to tell Zim to suction up the blood, he does it himself. He may have allowed it to stand in on this particular experiment, but that didn't mean he held any trust towards it to do as he instructed or to even be at all helpful.
"humans have so many of these." He says, unceremoniously plopping a hand into the middle of the writhing innards and pushing them to and fro. "some of them don't even work. they're only there to cause problems. fascinating species."
@dumbthink hears music playing
The music is soft, instrumental. Some of the instruments are familiar, others are, in the most literal sense, otherworldly. It sounds very vaguely like bossa nova.
He doesn't have them strapped to a table. Not yet, anyway. When they arrived, unannounced, through unknown means onto the ship, Sci had done what any good scientist would do. He filled the room they had arrived in with a sleeping agent and then had Captain carry them out into his lab.
Sci lightly taps them on the forehead with a pencil.
"you should be waking up now. let's get to it."
