randy even though they're kind of already a thing?

     Their relationship’s still rocky, now due to Gabe’s insecurities. They need to taaaaalk! Gabe’s obviously still got hang-ups about things, and he needs to talk instead of pulling this passive-aggressive bull. He’s got the relationship with Randy he wanted, now he’s gotta work to keep it.

Y’know, you could’ve just told me. XD

But then again, Roland could just tell Dirthamen too, tbh. I always say, I ship by chemistry, but shipping something and making the ship happen, are two different things. I’m shipping Roland and Dirthamen for goodness knows how long already, but as I say, my old grumpa is just not cooperating. XDDD

The thing with Dirthamen is, that his fear of abandonment has given him exaggerated cautiousness. He prefers keeping a distanced relationship with people, he cares for, because he somehow made himself believe, that it will hurt less, when the eventually leave him. So, the only way to have him drop that attitude is giving him actual hope. If he gets an inkling about the feelings of Roland, if he has enough evidence to calculate a serious possibility for Roland to be interested in him that way, his whole demeanor will shift. Because if he wants something and knows, he has a serious chance to get it, he’ll pour all his efforts into getting that.

Ask me about my armada ;;

     Gabriel’s comfortable where they’re at right now. He might disappear for lengths of time, but he feels he has a place to come back to. I think the only real turmoil at the moment comes from trying to pin down exactly what their relationship is. Gabe’s “friends with benefits” has a bit more emotion to it than the definition would lead on. He’s not comfortable saying it’s a forever thing, but he’s content.

Ask me about my armada ;;

     Gabe really cares about Laura and is crushing hard. He wants her to feel loved and to be happy, and he’s desperate for some way to provide that for her. However, he doesn’t want to push her away by admitting his (sober) feelings, especially since he’s still sorting them out. That, and he’s a synth so he feels insecure. 

     This ship could go so many ways. Honestly, I’m seeing a habit of Gabe’s that has him jumping on romantic/sexual feelings as soon as he cares about someone. He feels like the only way he can provide someone with happiness is by giving himself, and that’s… really not okay. But it’s also such a strong pining on his part that I wonder what will happen if it snaps. 

     No matter what, you’ve got yourself a sad puppy, Laura XD Got a feeling he’ll stick around even after the Institute is gone, just to make sure she’s doing alright.

Ask me about my armada ;;

     I feel like they’re likely to have an on-again off-again relationship while Gabe tries to figure out what he actually wants out of it. Gabe also tends to react really harshly to outward displays of anger, so I feel like their arguing’s going to continue for a bit. But Gabe’s also clinging to anything familiar and comforting, so he might be better than he’s been previously. He’ll likely keep coming back without knowing what he’s coming back for.
