The gentle whispers of the shifting wind - audible, yet in this dream not felt - almost sounded like a chuckle.

"Not every friend is made, by grasping and tightly embracing them, Da'len", the voice sounds amused, almost patronizing. The winds shift once more and reveal the sight of a Dalish hunter, the hood pulled deep over the face, revealing naught but a faint smile on thin lips. The bow is not strung, hanging dormant over the elf's shoulder. He is not here to hunt. He rests on the soft mossy forest floor, back leisurely leaned against a gnarly old Oak.

"What does it want, but to watch? To observe your person and exist in the periphery of your presence, is - to some - the truest form of companionship."

A faint caw interrupts the silence of the forest. A raven - not the one discussed, but a different one with burning red eyes - is sitting up on a high branch, eyeing the two people below intensely.

"Sometimes", the hunter begins anew, as he briefly glances at the raven, "all we can do is to allow the presence of those, who do not dare approach. And then - maybe - with time and patience, a new friend is made."

The fluttering of wings is heard, as the raven jumps from the tree and gently glides downward along the ghostly wind, until - at last - it lands on the hunter's outstretched arm.

I'm still too busy to write elaborate roleplay scenes, but I miss my grumpy old god. So, here's my compromise.

Tips: Muses not necessarily has to know each other. You muse can stop in their tracks, after recognising a stranger in the street.

Also, my muse can be not only the one haunting yours in the nightmares, but also the one saving them from the horrors of the dream. Or maybe they are just a figure who appears in every dream, but only observes your muse? Or maybe your muse’s nightmares involve someone hurting my muse?

Dalish Legends: “Dirthamen taught the people love and trust for their families.”

Dirthamen: Used to be so antisocial and shy as a child, that he completely relied on his twin brother to do all the talking and interacting.

Dirthamen: Passive-aggressively invented the Varterral to deal with the terror, Mythal’s dragons spread among the people.

Dirthamen: Repeatedly avoids family gatherings, because he gets annoyed by everyone’s petty fights.

Dirthamen: Refuses to join either Mythal’s fight against Falon’Din, or take Falon’Din’s side in the battle, because he can’t deal well with open conflict.

Dirthamen: Secretly supports Fen’Harel’s rebellion-efforts, without even him knowing, because he agrees that his family is unsuited for being good rulers, but doesn’t want to be the one, who said that out loud.

Dirthamen: Develops a compulsive adoption habit, after getting imprisoned, because his own family was a shitfest.

"Who are you people and how did you even find my temple!?" Confiscating booping kittens left and right, Dirthamen's ravens still can't prevent yet another boop from lading on their master's nose.

With his nose looking positively abused, Dirthamen is cradling the confused ball of fur to his chest. One must wonder, whom he truly is trying to protect this way.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

I'm working on a huge comic project over on my patreon right now. The new comic will probably start releasing early summer 2024 on tumblr and about 2 months later on my public platforms (including @meiilansnotebook ). The story will be based in the world lore of youlongtongzhi and feature many of the already established characters, as well as characters of friends, who helped me develop the original world lore, in completely revamped designs.

In the video, you can see a few first concept sketches for some of the important characters, that are already posted on my patreon. While I'm still working on my ongoing fan-comic, I will keep posting WIPs, concept sketches and BTS information on patreon. I might even sprinkle in some exclusive mini-comics about some of the characters' backstories.

Lately there has been an increase of a new anon thing. Someone sends blogs something random, apparently mostly nsfw or the like, tagging someone else's blog in those asks. THE TAGGED BLOG IS NOT THE ONE SENDING THESE ASKS! This someone is just using their URL for whatever reason.

So instead of blocking or even harassing the URL named in the ask, block and report the anon!

Every day, I open up the internet and I learn of yet another fas/cist eu/genics (censored, because I don't want these buzzwords to attract the wrong kinda people) pseudo-science that has been reinvented by social media as a new quirky trend, or worse even touted as some "ancient Chinese mystery recovered".

Listen kids, I too read tarot and am vastly fascinated with astrology. So, take it from someone, who does see value of interest in some pseudoscientific endeavors: If you see a tiktok filter, that claims it can make guesses on your personality based on your facial features or gods forbid some person on social media trying to tell you, that they can "read your face" like some Bravo magazine personality test... close the app! Run the other way and do it fast!

That's physiognomy. It's not "face reading". It's not a quirky new personality test trend. It's most definitely not some rediscovered ancient mystery. It's straight-up physiognomy, a pseudoscience reinvented since Ancient Greece, over and over again and made popular in the modern times first in the 1700 in Europe and later on used as a justification for slavery and mass genocide during the Era of colonization and later even the Third Re/ich.

Regardless, whether the source is a friend, a friend's friend or someone, who otherwise usually seems to say quite a lot of reasonable things: Whenever you read or hear how certain personality traits, mental illnesses, states of mental development (including mental age) are attributed to physical traits of a person (e.g. small people being child-coded) call it for the bullshit it is and educate these people on the harmful still far-reaching influence of eug/enics in the modern world.

There is no, literally none at all, connection between physiology and personality/education/mental development, that is scientifically proven. Period.
