Vegas placed a slender hand to her friend’s arm gingerly, taking note of the tense set of his jaw before turning her gaze to the platinum head of hair trailing away from their sight. There was an unfamiliar fire brimming in the redhead’s eyes that she had yet to experience. Something about the way Lucius Malfoy’s face seemed to twist into a permanent sneer in her presence had always made her uncomfortable, but his poor attitude seemed much more bearable when it was not making her friend so undeniably terse.
