While being alone in the basement, Thea had took the opportunity to check out her surroundings -- in the end there wasn’t much she learned except that she was in a cage. Though once hearing steps she immediatly layed down, acting as if she’s still passed out. 

Then she noticed the light being turned on. Hearing that person who captured her coming closer, then demanding her to wake up. It was a small girls voice. Weird to be captured by such. Was this even the one who captured her?

Thea slowly sat up again, the brown eyes on the child outside of the cage. However, she did not say a word. Not being sure how to react.

Ben had been trying to loosen those ropes which restrained his hands by moving his arms as much as he was able to. It scratched lightly at his skin but it was nothing bad. He just had to try to get free, instead of simply waiting for what would come. But then he heard footsteps as someone approached. At once he stopped his attempts, his heart bumped in his chest, afraid of what would happen. “I– I don’t want anything…”, he spoke silently but audibly, his tone was shaking. Who knew, maybe it was poisoned? His mommy had taught him to be wary. “What….do you want? Who are– you?” He wanted to sound strong but failed terribly.

“ I knew that would come... I’m not the one who captured you. “ She sighed quietly, sitting down on the couch. “ My name’s Thea, i’m just a human. More or less. “ They looked at the drink they were holding, then again at the boy. “ Sure you’re not thirsty? It’s apple juice, i promise i haven’t put anything weird into it. It’s not in their interest to kill you... and honestly i’d rather not have a dead person in my room. “
