Usually Yixing’s days are smooth sailing. He’s a simple man with a simple life. All he does is wake up, make breakfast, then head to work at the animal shelter. If it’s a really good day, Yixing will stop by the cafe down the street and treat himself to a snack. However today it seemed that every force of nature was out to get Yixing today. First his alarm broke, causing him to rush to get ready. With him rushing, he couldn’t eat breakfast, or even properly dress himself.
So there he is, half frazzled, hair a mess and clothes not in the least bit matching as he tried to wrangle in a very excited dog. “Come on, just settled down.” He pleaded, trying to tug the giant dog into the shelter after their morning walk around the block. However, the dog was just too large and too excited for Yixing to handle in that moment.
The dog burst loose from Yixing’s slipping hold, bounding down the sidewalk. With a yell, Yixing immediately took after the dog, hoping that it wouldn’t run into the road. Lucky for Yixing, the Yixing, the dog didn’t run into the road. However, the dog did run into a person knocking into them with their full weight. Yixing’s eyes went wide with fear as he hurried to approach the fallen male, tugging the heavy dog from off of them.
“Oh my god I’m so sorry! Are you okay?”
