Lets draw! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

drawing is something that taehyun has always done. he was really young when he realized he likes drawing. he would spend most of this time doodling on whatever surface he could get his hands on. filling notebooks, and coloring books, and sticky notes with all kinds of drawings and doodles. his homework would always have drawings all up the sides, annoying most his teachers.
it’s always been a sort of natural thing for him, and he can only attribute his skill to the last 18 or so years of always drawing. he wasn’t as good when he was little, he’ll admit, but he also thinks he has so much room to improve. not that he ever gives up on it, since even know when he could be paying attention to the cafe, he’s still doodling. half listening to anything yixing was saying. not because he wants to be rude, but because he has trouble focusing on conversations. yixing probably knows this after years of being friends.
he blinks in surprise when he hears the older male say his name, looking up from the napkin to see what yixing was talking about. a small smile pulling across his lips as he did. how cute. “it looks good, hyung. you have an eye for detail.” he commented, reaching across to pick up the napkin and give it a closer look. it’s simple, and so obviously not done by someone who is an artist. but it’s still good.
Yixing couldn’t help but preen at the praise. He knows it wasn’t the best drawing, but if Yixing went up against other amateurs or first time artists that only consisted of one year olds, then he is pretty sure he would win. Okay maybe that’s not something to be proud of but Yixing will take what he can get.
As an added bonus his drawing made Taehyun smile. That in of itself makes Yixing’s terrible drawing worth gold.
“Thank you TaeTae~” Yixing’s smile grew brighter, if that is even possible. Just the simple praise made the Chinese male feel like he was on the verge of becoming the neck Picaso. “You should keep it with you forever so you can look at it and smile when you’re feeling down.”
As he said this, Yixing reached for another napkin, pulling it towards him with his pen already poised. He has the art fever and Yixing will use up every napkin in this establishment until he’s satisfied. “I’ll draw you this time. Like the French Girls.”
