Pearl woke up in a panic. She’d been… she’d been on the beach, right? A beach in front of a house with someone new, someone who wasn’t the Gem who had just walked out of the door she was lying in front of. She stood up, hands shaking as the memories of what she could only presume to be the last few hours before this moment replayed in her head, and the door slid open to reveal a blue Gem just as she remembered.
