Viktor watches Vi quietly, head tilting curiously. Human nature, he has found, is much more complicated than anyone thinks. People hold onto things and thus so does the brain. Trauma, anger, sadness, jealousy, rage. It all culminates into the same loneliness, the same desire for something more. Not everyone knows how to let go. Some just need a little more of a push than others, more patience, more kindness. Once someone finally learns to stop holding onto the things that hold them back, only then can they really find what they're looking for.

He can see it in Vi, in Jinx, too. They all hold their own respective traumas so close to themselves that it would be hard to discern from the person. It's fine. I'm used to it. I've dealt with it before. Viktor blinks, realizing that he's been staring a little too long. "You are troubled," he says, sounding more like a statement than a question. "By more than the obvious reasons. Here." He pulls out a cloth and hands it to her to hold to her nose. "There is a lot on your mind, isn't there? Much unrest."

"Ah...Birds can eat fries?" Now he feels bad for all the times he let his dog chase after birds instead of feeding them!

"Oh! Do you want Makkachin to try and scare the crow? He's really good at scaring away birds when he feels like playing."
