In short, don’t play a player. Mistrust is always at the forefront of Zinn’s relationship with Willow, but there’s also an element of longing. Willow exudes motherly qualities. She doles out motherly affection to so many people adjacent to Zinnia that she can’t help but desire that in some way. Especially since she has such a fractured relationship with her own mother. Even with Cobalt advocating for her, she’s sure Willow will always be cold.
