damocles bought the old, welsh, cliffside mansion the instant that he had the funds to do so. luckily the wealth from his potion was near endless now and no decadent extravagance needed to be spared. the rumor was that it was a haunted place, a mystery which is still unsolved technically, but it was certainly secluded enough that the pair could live in peace from disturbance of outsiders. there was plenty of room for training dragons on the rocky fields in the front of the property and flying over the brisk seaside in the back. there are at least thirty rooms in the massive estate, most of which are filled with puzzles or paintings or trinkets or potion ingredients from all over, and no room lacking in interesting tidbits and baubles. it is a very good house to explore at all hours of the day which has managed to keep her endeared to the place indefinitely. the eccentric who originally built it included several hidden passages and at least one staircase which leads to no where (yet). at first, winnie was not certain about committing to a grounded living situation as she preferred the nomadic lifestyle of her childhood, but this is definitely a better way to keep all her stuff. however, winnie has declared the basement her personal den as ‘a mad scientists belong in the attic’ anyway. it took her three days to find the place with no instruction. marble likes to patrol regularly near the front door whereas cracks sleeps in the cave nearest the basement door.

eris is the goddess of chaos, strife and discord. eris played an important role in the events that eventually led to the trojan war. all of the olympians had been invited to the wedding of peleus and thetis, who would become the parents of achilles; however, eris was not invited, due to her inclination to cause discord. as a means of revenge, eris dropped the golden apple of discord into the party, which had the words To The Fairest One inscribed on it. hera, athena and aphrodite started quarreling over who the apple should be given to, so zeus appointed paris, prince of troy, as the person to solve the dispute. the goddesses offered paris various gifts, but he eventually picked aphrodite, who promised him the most beautiful woman in the world; helen, wife of menelaus, king of sparta. eris has shining eyes and a smile like of a serial killer. she wears a black toga. eris appears as a slender woman with pale skin, long, straight hair and blood-red lips. she wears a black dress.
