House of ‘Scares’ || Event

When his housemate had begun drawing up designs for Halloween themed outfits, Kanata had not realized that it was with the intentions of going to the Halloween party being hosted at Milky Way. Shu certainly had come a good amount out of his shell since they’d graduated from Yumenosaki. Kanata was happy for his friend.
Happy enough that, when Shu turned to him that morning and said that he’d be going as well, Kanata had just gone along with it. Amidst the flurry of costumes Shu had made for himself and a couple he’d tried to keep hidden that Kanata knew for a fact were for Shu’s Mi-san, Shu produced a costume that he’d put together for Kanata to wear.
The cyan haired male hadn’t thought he’d ever wear something so elaborate again after having put his idol career on hold.
Now that he was walking among the other partygoers, Kanata could really appreciate the craftsmanship that Shu put into all of his work. The outfit didn’t restrict any of Kanata’s movements, the cloth it was made from was breathable so it was very comfortable to wear, and it looked beautiful in its own right.
Keeping to the water theme that Kanata loved, Shu had turned Kanata into a human-water-dragon hybrid. Antler-like horns protruded from Kanata’s head, arranged among his hair so they looked almost natural. Draped around them and twined in his hair were long strings of seaweed and decorative shells and pearls. The outfit itself was composed of flowing layered robes done in varying shades of cool colors, a tail peaking out just under the hems. Kanata had acrylic nails filed to resemble claws and had been painted to match his theme and his skin had been covered in scale-like patterns, dotted here and there and covered with iridescent colors, shimmering as lights passed over his skin with his movements.
As he’d been wandering, Kanata had procured a drink for himself, sipping through a straw as he wandered. He had figured the straw would preserve the light blue lipstick Shu had applied to his lips. The designer had said something about it being a long lasting colour, but Kanata had not been paying close attention to the rambling list of information on the things Shu had applied to his skin.
Perhaps, since he was already here, he should do something other than walk around aimlessly? Perhaps visit the ‘Room of Horrors’?
Sipping at his drink and wandering closer to the attraction, mindful of others walking around him and not wanting to ruin the outfit Shu had dressed him in, Kanata almost missed him.
Green eyes glanced over and passed before darting back, pleasant surprise lighting up Kanata’s expression. Stepping around someone dressed like a deer and another person dressed like a character from a horror movie Kanata hadn’t seen, he ‘puka puka’ed, blew bubbles into his drink.
“Hello Yacchan, it’s nice to [see you] again~ ♪”
