I can't help but think of the Gaang+Ty Lee (because obsessive ex-gf ofc), so sure that it was Azula the killer, and eventually they find her in the middle of nowhere, possibly in a cottage in a forest (like the Xiao-Long house in rwby).

They bang on the door until she opens it wearing a simple robe and a pair of slippers, smoking mug in hand and the glare of someone who shouldn't be talked to before she gets her morning coffee (it's the afternoon).

As she lets Zuko talk, she simply listens and drinks until a woman appear, in a similar state as the former princess, and hug her from behind asking her to come back to bed.

Cue a very jealous/envious Ty Lee, a shocked to the core Zuko and confusion from the water siblings. The only one happy is Aang

Saw someone comment that Azula was more of a villain than Ozai and I think I need to post my reply because what the actual.

Azula has no confirmed kills in the show or otherwise, her only one being Aang. She uses almost lethal force yet doesn’t kill

anyone ? Narratively, the writers present her as more active to keep Ozai a mystery—we never even see his face until the point Azula is introduced. And if you really want to go down that route, about who is a better villain in the story?

Let’s take Iroh, who’s warlord years and 600 day siege of Ba sing Se was only talked about. You as a watcher might not like this or know this—he lead to deaths of many many people and only stopped when his own son died.

Now let’s take Zuko, who decimated Kyoshi island, who multiple times uses the same manipulation tactics as Azula to get what he wanted. Who I might add, actually served as a threat to civilians unlike Azula.

You think she’s a villain because you lack the ability to see deeper into a narrative that doesn’t even present her as a villain.

We as the watchers or readers of any piece of media have to be aware of what stories are told—making us sympathetic towards that character—and what stories are left out.

I’m also not negating that Azula did so some “terrible stuff” but if we were to make that claim let’s keep that same energy for any other character yeah?
