Darck didn’t say a word, just gently took the mug back… Paused a moment… Before grumbling at herself. “Damn it.” Swiftly, she leaned up and placed a gentle kiss to his cheek, before turning and fleeing.

                  An unexpected turn of events.

         When she fled, the not-so-pale being considered how far they had come -- And deeply hated himself for allowing it, of course. Hated himself for not hating that, per say. "I am royally screwed"
