@clandestinare asked: Maybe he had bitten off more than he could chew this time… Challenging a fellow wolf to a fight? Well, it wasn’t unusual for Yuuto, who so prided himself in his strength. But maybe his ability to judge others needed some work, because his opponent was far tougher than he expected. In the end, he found himself exhausted and covered in wounds. Unfortunately, the village had little resources at the time, so he thought to head out to get some, himself. But it seemed that the fight had taken a lot out of him, because as soon as Yuuto stepped out of the forest, his strength suddenly disappeared, and he collapsed right in front of someone’s house.
Even after having been taken in and treated for his wounds, Yuuto was barely able to open his eyes. Without any strength, his usual magic to hide his wolfy features—his ears and tail—faded while he was asleep. And so, now he was on the couch, completely deflated, watching the person who took him in pace around. “… ‘m hungry…”
The normal response for a young woman living alone at the edge of the woods finding a big muscular man passed out in her property who happens to be in the nude and covered in blood would most definitely be to call for help. However, when that young woman happens to be a witch and the naked man a werewolf, things were better dealt between just the two of them. Bringing in a blanket to preserve his dignity as best she could, Alice debated how she would be able to physically move him without spending stupid amounts of magic. In the end, she recruited the help of her well trained horse and a more acceptable amount of magic. Helping him onto Immy’s back, she held a hand to his back just in case as the very tall horse got back up. At a gentle pace, she brought him from where he’d passed out going through her garden to the back of the house. Once Immy got down on the floor again, Alice was able to pull the man onto another blanket and then into the living room.
By the time he was safely on the couch, she was considerably tired, but saw to his wounds first and foremost, doing a double take when she looked up and there were fluffy ears atop his head. Fighting off the urge to touch them, the witch continued the task at hand and gave him just enough magic to let his own healing factor kick in and help with the treatment. A sigh of relief escaped her at the sight of him sleeping peacefully, and she tucked him in with the blanket before heading back out to get rid of the blood trail. Whatever or whoever managed to leave someone as strong looking as he in that state, she didn’t want them finding their way into her home too.
The sound of a voice had her halting as she went around trying to find anything that might fit him, chuckling at that honest declaration. “That’s a good sign.” If he could feel hunger, then he was in better shape than she first thought. “I’ll make you something with plenty of meat.” She reassured him, walking back to the couch to check on him. “Feeling anything other than hunger?”
