"and then, and THEN- are you even listening?" Zim has been talking for the better part of half an hour about, of all things, the musical: Hamilton. Who let him watch that? Why did he sit through it? Why, upon seeing Dib of this world for the first time did he just sit down and start ranting about it?

All valid questions. None of which Zim really cares about. He's much more interested in, apparently, getting Dib's opinion on... Ancient Politics.

"anyway it was a quid pro quo. do you know what that means? DO YOU KNOW? they had the BANKS??? they were in the same SPOT??"

Zim spreads his arms like this explains everything he's just said.

"I KNOW WHAT IT IS!" Zim snaps back, hands on his hips, head held high in the air. It doesn't matter his height, really, Zim is going to make a show of himself anywhere he goes.

"what i don't know is why you are so OBSESSED with- with-- that! and i don't CARE! I DON'T DO ANYTHING WITH TOASTERS! except MAKE TOAST!"

Being in hell wasn't... Well, it wasn't all that fun. At least not to the former Invader. It reminded him quite a lot of his days on Foodcourtia, actually. The constant people, the constant noise, the constant debauchery. And of course the utter mess that the whole place was.

Still, none of the creatures here seemed all that interested in what he was. They all looked strange. And if they could tell he didn't belong, no one had made a point to mention it to him. Zim liked to believe it was because they could tell how powerful he really was, and didn't want to tangle with him. That idea worked well for him.

"YOU THERE!" Zim shouts from across the street at a particularly hideous thing. Really, a screen for a face? Pathetic! How easily he could destroy it. His PAK legs extend, carrying him swiftly across the street and plop him down just in front of Vox. "Yes, YOU! I am looking for someone, and I have been searching FAR too long. This place is awful! Anyway! Perhaps you can help me find who I'm looking for, YES?"

Antennae twitch. Hands go to his hips. Who did this guy think he was? King of Hell or something?

...oh wait.

Still! Zim cared very little for the creatures here, kings or not!

"zim," he says with great emphasis. But he brightens a little when Lucifer realizes that he's not an actual denizen of this place. "no! NO, no, no of course I am no.. SINNING CREATURE OF HELL. i'm irken."

That is also said with great emphasis, as if Lucifer should know exactly what he's talking about. "yess, heh, i don't belong here. JUST here for revenge and i'll be on my way!"

"WHY IS EVERYONE SO OBSESSED WITH THAT HERE!" Zim practically screams this to the metaphorical heavens. Sex! Sex, sex, sex! That's all anyone ever talked about, all anyone ever did, all anyone ever CARED about! Oh, it was just so. DISUGSTING!

He's all but forgotten about the whole rock throwing thing, ready to go on an absolute rant about how much he hates it down here when the watch he wears on his wrist beeps. Zim throws his arms in the air and sighs loudly.

"STOP BEEPING at me, i am already well aware!" He snaps at the watch, then turns to Blitz. He doesn't smile, just squints at him and then crosses his arms. "yes, yes, all that aside, you are who i'm looking for. blitzo, but the o is silent, sooo just blitz i guess. the assassin person... thing. correct?"

There's a very, very brief pause as Zim stares at Caleb, utterly uncomprehending. Rarely is it that the Irken is rendered speechless, but he's pretty damn speechless right now.

His face slowly curls into a scowl and he crosses his arms.

"DISGUSTING. I don't even- I DO NOT EVEN KNOW THE MEANING OF THOSE WORDS TOGETHER IN A SENTENCE!" He's got an idea of what Caleb means, but he isn't going to acknowledge anything as horrible as that. "UGH! what is with all of you in this HORRIBLE place! it's even worse than EARTH!"

"losing? losing?? you call that LOSING?" He had been losing. The amount of pink blood that stained the ground was a testament to that, but Zim was by no means about to admit that. He holds his head high, hands on his hips, looking Lucifer up and down. "zim knows the meaning of the 'thank you' phrase, thank you very much."

But he doesn't say it.

"yes, green, how..." One hand raises, makes a vague gesture, then returns to his hip. "how GOOD your observational skills are! yes..."

Zim trails off, then smiles, pressing his hands together at his chest. "that was an impressive punch. i could have punched harder, but i will allow ONE compliment to be bestowed on... you... WHOEVER you are. demon. creature? thing!"
