I guess this is a greater Zootopia!verse fact lol

But this is based on real life.

Because rodents are very fertile beings, measures must be put in place to keep them from overrunning the city with their armies of children.

Rodents also love to eat. So doctors and scientists came up with a solution.

Palomine, like many lady rodents, takes birth control via special medicated food. Hers, specifically, is peanut butter. It looks and tastes the same as its non-medicated counterpart. She eats it on toast twice a day.

She does label it, but if they misunderstand or can't read it, this can cause serious problems for guests who don't know...

Two familiar voices rang out from around the corner...

"I'M being two-faced?! How could you say that!? Are you SERIOUS?!"

"YES! You say, 'yes, honey, oh we should have children' but y OU WILL NOT EVEN MAKE LOVE TO ME!!!"

Then there was a series of scuffling noises, things falling to the floor, a door slamming.

What the heck was going on?!

🌞🌞RAT VACATION!🌞🌞

In the Zootopia verse, there is a certain island.

Along with choice shopping and world-class resorts, there's food everywhere, climbing walls, luxury chewing bark, digging sites.

It is a rodent's dream! The lovely Makambo Island!

Rats are the main clientele, but other rodents come too.

Now, an island, defenseless on all sides, and full of rodents in varying states of intoxication. Some predators might see it as a snack bar.

Luckily, Makambo thought three steps ahead and has a very sophisticated and lethal military. They have guards on the land and sea and in the air. They even have a giant robot piloted by special ops rat teams. Vacationers might get the chance to see them take down a bird of prey (they often attack the place). It's part of the experience!

Palomine and NPC!Remy like to go there when they have time. Specifically, they go to celebrate Valentine's Day.

That is one of the busiest days for restaurants so Remy never gets that day off. So they celebrate on January 14th instead on the island. The rates are cheaper anyway, and the weather is milder.

"I can't believe you talked me into this," Remy bought two tickets to the Zootopia Natural History Museum. "Why did we come here first instead of the aquarium? It's going to be crazy when we're done here!"

"Because I am your wife and I asked you and you are smart~!" Palomine hugged him and batted her eyelashes. "Thank you, Cheese Man~!"

"Yeah, you're welcome," he tried to pretend it wasn't getting to him. They both knew better. "Come on, let's go."

"I want to see the shark fossils! Where are they..."

"How would you feel if I pulled a gun on you?" Palomine asked.

"Honestly?" Remy poured himself a glass of wine. "Depending on my day at work, I would just let you pull the trigger. Mother's Day? Valentine's Day? Like, just blow my head off. Get those exploding bullets so it gets the job done. I'll lay some tarp down. Let's go."

And Palomine burst out laughing.

"I'm serious!" But he was laughing, too!
