Fall and Flower

“Ehhh, ya do realize that’s it’s in my nature to like… give everyone a chance?” Magolor shrugs. “Just like that?” Meta Knight was confused, and surprised that his apology was… just accepted. Magolor seems to have sensed his confusion. But what was more notable was how he reacted to the flowerbed they were on.

“Ya know..” Magolor yanks the knight off the flowerbed. “Let’s chit-talk as we go.” He says, a mournful look on his face. “And hopefully not defile a grave.”

Meta blinks, slightly adjusting his mask to see better. “Wait..” he glanced at the field. “A GR-“

He was hushed immediately by a hand and a twitch of Magolor’s ears. “Hush.. I hear a certain nuisance.”

Sure enough, there was a sound. One that Meta soon discerned to be a menacing voice.

“You idiot. In this world, it’s kill or be killed! Why would ANYONE pass up an opportunity like this?!”

Magolor grumbles. He sped up, forcing Meta to follow.

“Hey, dumbass!” He calls out as soon as he enters the archway, Meta trailing behind. “What did I say about what I’ll do when I see you tormenting someone again?!”

Meta Knight knew this will end badly. He just did. Now, don’t get him wrong, his Magolor’s anger was justified, despite him not knowing where they were or who was that, the whole torment was only for those who’d deserve it.

At least that’s how he’ll counter it, but once he saw what was going on, Meta Knight thought that maybe the human who looks too weak must’ve disturbed the… talking flower???

That was certainly a puzzling thing.

Although Magolor and the other being, a tall bipedal goat?, knew what must have happened, because the goat just… healed the human, while Magsi- err, Magolor, he corrects himself mentally, had fired a Gem Apple Bomb on the flower, lit by thr goat being’s magic.

“GOOD RIDDANCE!”

Well… this was going to be a long day-
