finally. the perfect game

big problem with the perimeter covering videos is that they restart my "dig a big hole" disease. like i had plans. i have builds i wanna make. i also should be asleep. instead im selecting the perfect chunks to build a hole straight to bedrock. in my hardcore world. i am sure this will have 0 consequences.

anyways i think digging is a wonderful symbol for extended desperation. you don't claw in the dirt with your bare hands unless you truly don't know what else to do. and once you start you cannot stop, because what you're looking for could be just one scoop further- and you would not have started if you weren't desperate. i think it's ritualized insanity. you are doing the same thing over and over again, and you have to hope, pray to some higher power, that there will be a different result this time. because you are getting somewhere. you are going deeper. but do you know what you're unearthing? also digging fun

I feel like you haven't posted about it in a while so, how goes the hardcore world? Dig any new big holes?

i haven't actually played in a few weeks! i play 5+ hours a day for a few weeks, then not at all for a few weeks/months, then back into it. Right now I'm playing other games, and working a lot. Secret Life is getting me itching to play again, though!

I mostly finished the big hole! I've hit bedrock, and cleared a little bit of the first layer. exploding the bedrock just takes. foreeeeevvvver. (I've tried a few ways of speeding it up, but I worry about doing anything toooo buggy on my HC world.) Once I get another big idea for a build I'll probably hop back into it and start slowly clearing out some blocks every now and then.

IDK if i ever posted pics of the big hole "complete," but I went with glass for the caves and really like how it came out :)

also does anyone want some delicious cobblestone...

had a nightmare I died in my hardcore world before I could finish The Big One (64x64 hole.) on a side note, does anyone know what I can do with like a loooot of deepslate. Like maybe 40 double chests worth.
