[Coming Soon!] Love is Fake, Anyway: A FakeZircon Dating Sim

Love is Fake, Anyway is a visual novel centered around the streamer personality FakeZircon—and you, the player—navigating a new Minecraft world.

After arriving by accident on a server unfamiliar to you, and catching the attention of its host, what better plan is there than to poke around a bit? Zircon says he's got a surprise for everyone at the end of the week, and if you can manage to get on Zircon's nice list—and stay on his whitelist—you might just be there to see it.

In addition to Zircon, meet and spend time with a whole cast of quirky characters! All six active members of the SM3 will appear fully-rendered in special encounters in the game.

This has been a passion project a long time in the making—and there's still lots of work to do! Keep an eye out for progress posts.

Hi Hoffen! Congrats on getting the datapack out! It's adorable!

I am working on a modpack for myself and a group of friends to stream, and we would really love to include this pack but the most recent common modding version is 1.20.1.

Would you be opposed to me backporting your datapack to that version?

I would say "Oh I can check it out and port it myself for 1.20.1" but the datapack was primarly done using Data Component features from 1.20.5 onwards. I have no idea how I would do it using older features.

So feel free to backport it! And if you'd be open to it, you can share it with me so I add it to the versions list, only if you want that of course.

17. Do you eat/drink when drawing? if so, what

Oh lord. ok I try to….. i always have water, and if i set myself up nicely to draw for a while i make myself an iced sweet tea of some variety! :^) i don’t usually eat while i draw since im focused and my hands & attention’s occupied, but i take little breaks to snack on frozen raspberries or popcorn or somethang. Or soup

30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated

Most OC art….. as is the way it goes but nevertheless i post on…. I haven’t done a large piece in a long long while but i’m usually only moved to do so by my/my friends’ own stories (thumbs up)
