I don't hate it but I don't love it either

In my opinion, as a VIEWER, Caroline doesn't have a place in The Originals. While Klaus being tortured for 5 years straight, grieving with Cami's death, and losing Marcel's trust, I think the last thing he wants to deal with is a relationship. I don't see what her character's purpose would be other than be Klaus's love interest/damsel in distress or supernanny. But anyway if they have a crossover that's cool whatever As a regular on the show..? Nah.
