😢 for Chiaki and Eichi | For every “😢" I receive, my muse will have a nightmare.
Eichi:
The impossibly obese man was crying. The crying was soft and almost melodious, and Eichi wanted to comfort him. Stepping forward, he reached out a hand and watched with morbid interest how the flesh began melting away from his bones. Even then, he didn’t feel pain and he didn’t retract his hand, now simply a skeleton that caressed soft flesh. The impossibly obese man smiled and inside his mouth viruses as big as moths danced around and around. The climbed onto Eichi’s hand, crawled across it, and the air was filled with the repugnant odor of rot.
Eichi twirled around, trying to shake the viruses off of him but they multiplied in front of his eyes and the impossibly obese man had split into five different beings who all looked down at him from impossibly tall pillars, their faces obscured by smoke from a burning building in the distance. It looked like Yumenosaki, didn’t it? The smoke made it difficult to breathe, but Eichi bravely stepped forward into the flames, hoping it would burn the disease away. Blood sloshed around his feet with each step he took, thick and coagulated.
“I wasn’t wrong,” he mumbled and everyone pointed and laughed. The one person in the entire world who loved him unconditionally, his grandmother, sat on top of a burning desk - the desk in the student council room, of course - and she was burning too, arms open as if inviting him in. He knew he shouldn’t approach her, but everyone laughed but her so he reached and the five figures on the pillars sang a hymn of destruction and he felt blood stream down his face and the grandmother he thought he was embracing was simply a brittle concept of a thought, there and gone the second his fingers touched and he was deep, deep down in an abyss of fire and smoke and it was so, so, so hard to breathe. He crawled on all fours, his limbs giving way to the heat around him and he got no where fast. Tori sat on his back and petted his head soothingly while he said:
“You were very wrong and everyone hates your cakes because you bake them with venom and malice, but I’ll have a slice if you remember to put a cherry on top.”
Eichi went to serve him and then...
And then he woke up, feverish and half delirious, a heart rate monitor beeping next to him.

GUARDIAN : facing down a threat, sender pushes receiver back with an arm, moving to stand in front of them and protecting them with their own body. (Kou & Leo)
This situation wasn't happening, was it? The person looked dangerous, and apparently he was someone that Madara knew? And he was trying to use Leo to get to Madara? What kind of soap opera scenario was this? It was ridiculous, and part of Leo wanted to tell the weirdo to go kidnap someone else, or just not kidnap people in the first place, but he was waving a metal pipe around and... It looked seriously scary. If he were to use it...
Leo still backed away, wondering how he could possibly outrun this dude if he decided to charge... But then there was someone else there, someone who pushed Leo further back while positioning himself in between Leo and the assailant. "H-hey...! What are you...?!"

[ SHIELD ]: in order to protect them from physical harm caused by a third party, the sender shoves the receiver against the wall and shields them with their body.
Many didn't know that Natsume's used to people trying to fight or attack him- given the success of his mother, their family had made many enemies, some of which became violent towards her son, knowing how busy she is and going for the easiest option to harm her. Due to this, when he was arguing with another student in the halls, Natsume didn't flinch away when he raised his arm up to punch him in the face, this hit could likely hardly compare to that of a grown adult anyway. He did however, feel his eyes widen as he's pushed against the wall and protected from the blow.
He blinked up, staring at Kanata in horror for a moment before reversing their positions, quickly to give him a look over. “Why did you do thaT? Are you okaY?” Natsume turns, reaching into his pocket to throw something at the bully- a crackler, it'll just make a loud noise to scare him off following while he dragged Kanata away.
“You all have to stop protecting me! Look where it gets yoU!”
Being one of the Five Eccentrics had been a bit of a whirlwind and Kanata honestly didn’t understand most of what was going on. Mostly that they were the talk of the school and that people liked them... But then they didn’t and then they said mean things and tried to hurt them. It was very confusing and it made him sad. And all other sorts of emotions that he couldn’t put a name to, but none of them felt like good emotions. Only bad.
Kanata hated crying. It diluted the water he preferred to surround himself with. And it made his body hurt, head and throat and heart. The heart was the most peculiar one. But on the flip side, he had friends. Rei and Shu and Wataru and Natsume, and they didn’t shy away from him and didn’t refuse to talk to him like Chiaki did. (That hurt too. Very much.)
So when he saw one of the bullies corner Natsume, he had to step in, he simply had to. Maybe it wasn’t smart, but he was God so they couldn’t really do anything against him, could they?
Well. Apparently they could. The blow struck his delicate face and it hurt and tears brought on by pain welled in his eyes. He blinked at Natsume, trying to sort his thoughts out. “I did not ‘want’ you to be hurt, Natsume... Why do they do this?”
