V. The Mother-of-Ants What do they consider sacred, even as it harms them?
Freedom of choice. It hurts to be ostracized by the people you consider family, and it hurts to no longer have a place where you once had a home. But Heidi believes in freedom, that people should be able to choose.
VI. The Witch-and-Sister Why might a stranger seek them out, and what is asked of them? Do they give it?
Help. Aid. A psychiatrist, she is a doctor. This is often why she is sought out, cheaper than most despite being the top of her field, she doesn't care. Money means little when it comes to help. She is helped, with trembling lips and a desperate tongue, to aid. And she helps. Oh she helps.
VII. The Colonel What drives them towards their goal?
What drives any of us towards our goals? Money, time, effort, determination.
VIII. The Lionsmith What is the cruelest thing they've done that they do not regret?
Heidi tries not to be cruel, she tries not to be, because she knows how much cruelty can hurt another. But she has no regrets for burning bridges, things others may find cruel that she found necessary. She’s burnt people before. And she’d do it again. She must come before their claws.
IX. The Elegaist What do they want their legecy to be?
She wants to leave something in the field of psychology and psychiatry. She wants to be known for helping people. Heidi wants to be at least part of the reason that people can get help.
X. The Beachcomber Describe a grudge, intrusive desire, anxiety, or other similar negative emotion they nurture. Are they willing to give it up? If not, what could force them?
Heidi has social anxiety, and growing up she leaned into it to avoid having to connect with other people or examine the fact she sucked at connecting with other people. She did give it up, she got help, got better. She’s still got it, she still sees a therapist, takes her meds. But she got help and did better.
XI. The Meniscate Are they prone to self-examination? How do they view themselves and their actions?
Of course. It’s healthy to always be changing, always be learning, always catching yourself and doing better. Heidi is a psychiatrist after all. She views herself as good, but still learning. Kind, but could be kinder.
XII. The Sun-in-Rags What do they consider to be their greatest loss? How have they coped with it?
Honestly? She misses Germany, she was only there for a few years growing up. But she misses her home! It’s only natural, especially since she never actually got to experience the culture all that much. But it’s okay, she’s very intertwined with all sorts of people in Cali, and she loves that too. It helps her cope :)

It’s him. It’s him. He is sacred and he hurts him. Alee puts himself above others even though he hates himself. Because he has to. It’s a vicious cycle of self hatred and self love.
VI. The Witch-and-Sister Why might a stranger seek them out, and what is asked of them? Do they give it?
Money. A man of gambling, drugs, and debt. He’s got dangerous people looking for him at all times. Alee has always skirted the law, bad crowds, loud crowds, danger. He might give them the money, he might not. Depends on if he feels like murder is more appropriate.
VII. The Colonel What drives them towards their goal?
(Ignore that I forgot this) uhh money mostly. Or drugs. His next thrill, his next big chase, his next high. Alee is very predictable in this way. He needs more all of the time. And that is what drives him. Cause his goal is numbness.
VIII. The Lionsmith What is the cruelest thing they've done that they do not regret?
Alee has blood on his hands, a lot of him. And at one point in his life, he would have felt guilt. But now? Now he doesn’t. He takes from the unsuspecting, he lies and cheats. And he feels no guilt. He’ll drain somebody of everything. And he feels no guilt. The murder was fine, too. He felt nothing for that either.
IX. The Elegaist What do they want their legecy to be?
Alee wants to bring something to his family name. He wants them to be more respected. Not just healers or religious leaders. He wants his legacy to make his clan better than ever. It seemed a fruitless dream when he left though. He doesn’t yet know just how much he’ll really change.

He has an addictive personality. He becomes addicted to things a little too easily. Drugs, alcohol, food, people, ect. Alee puts himself a little bit too much into his addictions. They consume him in a way, but they’re also all he is in his opinion. And so no, he isn’t willing to give it up. He needs it, in his opinion. So forcing him to give any of his addictions up is uhhh, very Hard.

Alee would rather die than self examine himself tbh, he already hates himself enough thank you. He’s aware he’s not a good person. He doesn’t need self examination to know that though.
XII. The Sun-in-Rags What do they consider to be their greatest loss? How have they coped with it?
Sienna Taylor. His best friend. It is his biggest loss, she was his whole world. Alee coped by drinking more, getting into bigger fights, and trying to ignore the way his heart sinks every time he thinks about her.
